I try to answer those questions in this episode of the Content Writing series here on the Luke Morgan channel! I became a content writer in 2021, and I work full-time writing blog articles, landing pages, website content and more. In this video, I discuss my workflow, using Trello and Grammarly to write engaging blog articles for companies up and down the country.

What other Content Writing questions do you have?

So I’m starting my second content writing position on Monday. You are absolutely correct, there is a lot of flexibility vs traditional office jobs, hence, why I wanted to try my hand. Both positions are salaried and assignment-based, so I can manage my time accordingly. I’m hoping my daily meetings don’t conflict though. My primary position is good for the occasional impromptu meeting so there could be some maneuvering involved. Either way, we’ll see. Great video btw!

Thanks, this was really informative. I am trying to get into this or copywriting and it seems so hard to get into as they all require 1-2 years experience even for junior level. I also like the flexibility of being remote (more so for saving on travel costs).

Just browsing various forums and sites is a good place to start. Google scholar is always good for more academic pieces.

do you choose topics you are familiar with or do you just do research and write about any topic?

Great question! It's gotten to a point now where I'm familiar with certain topics and I know what to write about with them, but I still research random topics that I don't know anything about. Would a full video on something like this be helpful?

How many articles do u write everyday ?

I was originally writing anywhere from 1-3 articles a day, but it depends on the size and the niche.

I haven’t made one yet, as I’m not freelance so don’t have to find my own clients. The ones I have worked with freelance have been word of mouth, but as I continue to find more I’ll consider making a client video in the future 😁
