Seening people faces when we do it is crazy fun. Had some dudes harrasing me casue they are envy of a 35yo dating a 13yo, some times I even had to call the cops to arrest them for harassment. We are dying of laughing when this happens.(It is is perfectly legal to date like this as much as you don't go "intimate" or do stuff related to that, for that we have to wait 3 more years until 16 😎)

Fun story about a mod abusing his power. We knew the guy from high school, and as such he lived close to us. He had been in the server for two years, but started abusing his power and being a dick. When the owner kicked him, he DDoS'ed the owner. The owner got tired of his shit, got three of his buddies, and they went to his house and beat the fucking tar out of him. Imagine the look on the guy's face when he figured out that he cannot mute punches.

When I was 19 in the 2010s in Australia I was a chat room moderator but I was actually being paid for it. Most of us were University students and it was our side job. It was a room full of us and rotating staff and it was horrible hours I can't imagine doing it for free.

Also, this video is accurate, some of them have more than 21 days worth of vocal spent time in a month, and the thing different is I unranked them the first time they did something with minors and abusing perms. And yeah, I always hated no reason on bans, it can't help anyone.

I saw this video some time ago but never met a Discord mod. Last month I had the pleasure and it was crazy. Arbitrarily kicking people for asking a question, asking people what their username means and kicking them. Generally creating a complete hostile environment. I could really not believe what I was whitnessing and everybody else was confused also. I felt like under a dictatorship. Very crazy

Lol yeah, same with us there was a mod in a server that was being an ass to my friend and I so we decided to leave, and only then did the owner do anything because the server was dead without us because we were the most prominent speakers there, and even then we still decided to wait it out because the only thing that the owner did was say that she wouldn’t let the dumbass mod deal with my friend (since that’s what really caused us to leave along with him being an ass to me as well) but I’m so thankful that my friend and I still waited out after a while because later his mod privileges were taken away :D so no more abuse of power! But yeah point of the story, owners will only really care when their server starts to suffer because of their dumbass friend mod.
