Nice 1st attempt. Try water miscible oils. You and the kitties will be much safer. If you keep reg oils keep it extremely well ventilated with windows open, cover your turpentine and only open when you are using it (thinning paint or cleaning brushes). I only use water miscible paints like Kobra 👍 my favorite and w&n artisan (which is cheaper in the States). I found gouache to be similar to oils with the blending right on canvas, but the oils are open and fresh even 2 days later left out. Your two other paintings show you mastered the basics of oils quickly. Keep it up. Loved the vlog aspect, was fun for a change-up. In fact, one of my favorite videos of yours was the one where you rented the cabin. It's fun to see fellow artists in their nat'l environment and on vacation. Aw, my black cat demands attention and cuddles, too and is very vocal 😄 The cats and dogs are why it takes me so long to complete a task thanks to the interruptions. I just cannot face a big kitchen mess in the morning so I clean up in the evening (ugh, hate it so much). Thanks for a peek into a day in an artist's life 😊 Nice job on the oil paintings, BTW 👍

What a great routine to get the cleaning done in the morning! I too get tired at the end of the day and don't want to clean haha and I make my coffee with decaf too since the full caffeine ends up hurting my stomache if I drink it daily. Looks like a yummy coffee with the cream and sugar! Oooo the walking and working looks like a nice setup. I usually do some yoga in the middle of my day cause of the back problems too :) your kitties are so cute 🥰
