Thank you for this. I’m currently training as the lead DA. This a career change for me. I’m currently on week 3 training at another office since we’re opening our Aspen dental office in my town. So far it’s going good but I’ve noticed the lead DA training me, she literally does everything 😮

I just started a new office & I have to learn how to do temporary crowns & I’ve been having a hard time , the crazy part is I have seen the drs at my at other office make them all the time but I’m having a hard time trimming them , either I trim them to much . Any tips ?

I would say the key to a great temp would be to make sure you have a good impression and a sharp bur , and just take your time I know you want to get done but just take your time you should be able to see the margins and just follow that inside and out, also you can just keep trying in the crown to see what you need to take off and just go slow until you get the hang of it, I hope this helps

I’m commenting on everything lol but can u apply or request to be lead or it’s like you get chosen or become promoted? Also ofc they pay more right for lead? I’m starting school soon I’m curious ☺️

Lol no problem, you can apply for lead sometimes people have lead job positions but you will have to have 5+ years of experience, yes they pay more
