This video shows how are baby and toddler are learning to speak in four languages (English, German, Swahili and Spanish). Our 24month old is starting to develop his speech and it is so interesting to witness how the different languages are being expressed. He understands all 4 languages very well but mostly speaks in English at present. More in the video

Impressive that the children are so young in 4 languages! My daughter is fluent in Dutch, French, Arabic, German, and English.

I have a question that I hope you will be able to help me with. I am fluent in french and english and Japanese, my wife is japanese. I plan to speak in both English and french to my son while my wife will talk to him in Japanese. My wife is worried that if i speak in both english and French to our son, he may be 'caught in between' both languages without being truly fluent in both. What do you recommend I do? I am thinking of speaking to him in French from monday to wednesday and English from Thursday to Sunday. Do you have any recommendation?

How wonderful for your children to be submerged in all of these languages! I miss your cooking videos. You were an integral part of me getting off my meds for Ulcerative Colitis years ago when I did your 14 day vegan challenge!

This is great! I was told I should children should have one face - one language. Meaning that every person should use one language when talking to the baby and not jump or mix with another, as they would end up thinking it’s the same language. Have you seen this happen? Maybe your son’s sentences are a mix of all 4 languages? Thanks

Very nice been watching u for years. My hub from Mexico. We all speak Spanish and English. Me an my youngest speak French together. I homeschool aswell. What a beautiful family 🥰 wholeness to your family
