get it get it... sis! I remember when you first started Chamberlain. I was a few months behind you with my start date... I have since downgraded because I will soon be headed into an practical nurse program. I enjoy listening to your expertise and excitement despite the obvious exhaustion that working as a NICU nurse creates.

I’m really of thinking of doin this I feel it’s my calling and I had this thought for years but not sure been running around with different ideas but this career is really tugging at me I’m 24 how long do you think it will take? To finish school and everything

From start to finish full time will take you four years (with zero college credits). But if you factor in work/life in general it may take more. If it’s your dream, go for it! You got this.

How many patients do you get in the Nicu?

1 or 2 traditionally. Sometimes Night Shift can get 3 if it’s supper short staffed.

I want to be apart of nicu like NICU nurse ,NICU tech ,NICU cna or something like that like can you tell me what each position does like go into deep explantion can someone reply

In the NICU nurses do the majority of work simply because it’s an ICU. I don’t even think most units have techs but in my unit, the techs do all of the stocking and suction changing etc.
