Lol I spill water all over myself when I’m trying to drink super quickly too, you’re definitely not the only one. I’m sorry that the past couple of months have been draining. I've only just finished my 2nd semester but I can already feel the work because I have two 8 hours shift a week in cooperated into my schedule already and its only the beginning. But it is honestly so much fun and although its hard and my gpa isn't that great I still love it. Don't know if that answers your question, have a nice day!

@@rawanfaraj1968 I totally feel you. Questioning my career choice right now since I work my butts off to be in nursing school. After being attached to the surgical/medical wards for 5 weeks, I thought i was gonna collapsed from the exhaustion and then thats when the reality hits me. I realised that I have to work like this for the rest of my life.

I can totally relate to this 12h shifts madness. I work at a 24h gas station and we're currently working 12h shifts BC of staff being on sick leave. Most 12h shifts end up being 14hish but oh well 🤷 I just hope things will ease up soon.

I’m 18 y/o and I will start at the nurse school this August. I’m very excited since my dream job is to be become paramedic yet I’m so frightened because I don’t know if I am able to handle those long shifts😅

Hey. As a heads up, if you want to be a paramedic, nursing school and becoming a nurse isn't the way to do that. Becoming a nurse follows a different education pathway than becoming a paramedic.

Dude, I work at a small fast food place is a small county. Busiest place in the county! You zip around, get Karen's, half the time I don't get a break, but I only work 5-6 hour night shifts three days a week since I'm in school(I up it to 5 in summer). This is just my trial run for being an RN! Can't wait...

Hey girl hey! I saw that you put some tampons in your bag. I highly recommend using a menstrual cup! Total game changer and you can use it for up to 12 hours which I’m sure would help you during your busy 12 hour shifts. Just throwing it out there 👍🏾❤️
