Depends on the individual, i worked for a firm years ago with a few joiners and most would empty their vans to hang a door. An old boy on there would do litteraly any job with a cordless and his kit bag, thats it!! Great old school joiner
@homemprovmentguy

@@danielmills4898 right? I’ve learned to eyeball things like centering the bolt when I cut in a passage set, or centering a knob on a bifold door, etc. I don’t even own one of those squares he used. Anything to help the job go faster instead of hyper focusing on things no one’s going to notice.

Least favourite part of any job for me is loading out of the house. The job is finished and I want to be gone but there's several trips up and down the stairs or garden to get everything back into my vehicle. Tedious

@@aaronbell8527 some days I have a list of different types of job to sort in a house as a general handyman and I keep going back to get different tools for each job, start fitting a door or maybe some handles, then a bit of plumbing or hanging things on walls and by the end of the day I have virtually every tool I own in the house. I should take stuff back once finished with as I get other stuff out but I always forget and end up having to shift it all at once at the end of the day 🤦🏻‍♂️

Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad you are liking the content for this. I would recommend either putting longer screws in if that doesn’t work , Try and angle the screws to catch the timber, and if that also doesn’t work drill a6mm hole where the screws are into the doorframe and put a wall plug-in, and that should work, but if it doesn’t you will have to change the hinge location
