Hey Marko! Hope you are having a great day. I have been watching your videos/vlogs from the starting, and one thing I have to say is, the quality of the video has increased so much. The video quality as well as the content. It has helped me a lot for my coding skills and knowledge(as a student I absolutely love this). Your vlogs have motivated me to finally start learning some coding. I've never done anything code-related and started with very basic HTML stuff, and it feels amazing to be able to change the color of your text with code, lol. I know it probably sounds super stupid to people who are advanced, but it's really fascinating to me. Anyways, keep up the great work man!

the resizing is a very good idea! I think I will use your WM instead of Rectangle, automatic resiizing is so handy

I like your idea. Right now, I use Magnet and although it snaps to any corner, I have to adjust my all my windows when I need more space for one window over the other.

Hey yep! You can just hold CMD when dragging a window and it will snap to available space, and then you can also hold CMD while resizing to activate this new feature in the video :)

Norway has been my dream country since late 2020. My passion for planning, designing, building and learning how software evolves (usually through user interaction) has been steadily growing; thus nurturing this guilty pleasure for learning/mastering algorithms and data structures to improve efficiency and inspire flawless software 🙂.... I really hope Marko can be my mentor as he's probably living a life really close to what I only dream of these days. Hey Marko! Love the way you tell stories through your videos! I'm a senior in high school planning on pursuing computer engineering, but apprehensive on whether I should go for software engineering or more on the hardware side (chip design). I was wondering if an early year college student can get internships at companies with limited experience as well :)

Hey thank you! :) Those are both amazing career paths you are considering. It is definitely possible to get internships at companies with limited experience, the only requirement is to show you are eager to learn, and that you are passionate about your particular area of choice. Having a super small side project to show is a huge plus! :) Keep going, and be brave :)

Hi Marko! I switched from rectangle for the WM in oneMenu and it has been great so far. One thing I liked with rectangle however was the feature of being able to move a window to another monitor by pressing the snapping command twice. Is this something that could be implemented in oneMenu as well? Keep up the great work!

Awesome! If you want to see amazing multi-window UI/UX you only need to look at Windows 11 - they have absolutely nailed it. I would love it If you would add some visual feedback that a border is "sticky" i.e. it will resize the other snapped windows. In windows when you hover over the resizeable edge of the window that is snapped with others that you want to drag it will glow blue.

Hey thank you for the comment! Yes I agree windows 11 has really nailed the UX for window management. I will try to move towards this in the future versions, and visual feedback would definitely be one of the easier features to add, yet a very nice improvement. Thanks!

Got an idea for an another project u can maybe do, make a proper path bar for Mac. Where you can actually see the full path to a file etc. Just a random idea i had plus it would help apple uses a lot. Love the content as well keep it up!!

I have a question for you (if you don't mind me asking?), are there any good books that you recommend reading to improve one's 'critical thinking' and 'logical thinking' skills? Currently reading this book called "Deep Work" by Cal Newport and its a good read so far! Also, are there any techniques or 'tips' that you use in your personal and/or work life to stay focused on and to become 'more productive'? Definitely very interesting in hearing your thoughts! for the window snapping: It would help if you made it take up the amount of space left on the same axis as you are pulling, in the situation you show at around 3:35. It would make sense as you probably don't want 3 apps on one axis anyway. But you might want to use another piece of software and snap that in place, which you can't if the other windows takes all the space it is really strange macbooks don't already have this built into the system considering apple is all about productivity. Maybe because their lower end laptops only has 8gb of ram and they want them to seem fast?

Hey thanks for the comment! This feature is only activated while holding CMD, so it shouldn't interfere with normal resizing. I'm not really sure why Apple doesn't include a proper window manager, I wish they did!

Hey Marko, Love your content, and the one menu app. I am using the one menu app, and I wanted to ask if you can make the point where the window understands in which section of the screen it should be aligned, to happen a bit earlier. I find myself all the time having to go really deep in the corner in order to make the app align in the 1/4 of the screen. Also, not sure if you have a feedback section, but it would be a good idea to add that somewhere in order to capture more of these in order to make certain improvements that the community can think about.
