Seiya seems like a great guy. To walk away from that frustrating situation in Morocco and just saying “whatever” takes a special kind of person. Also, Samuel, your reflection shots are starting to look similar to Gustavo Minas! It’s really enjoyable to see different people on your channel and their own styles or insight on how they shoot - 30 minutes went by so quick! Lastly, totally agree about the skate comparisons. I started photographing friends doing tricks when I was a kid and slowly gravitated toward street photography. There’s a lot of mutual inspiration from the two worlds. Fantastic potato vlog as always!

Really love that night shot of the red light with the man on the bike! It feels like it's quintessential Osaka back streets. Love your stuff always, Samuel! This one was especially fun to watch! 🙌🏻

I really liked the 6th picture with the pretty old lady ✌🏼. Enjoyed the video a lot and it was impeccably great to watch another fun vlog. So glad that you did not make it shorter as it was better this way, tbh Samuel you are the OG of street vlogs and povs! Always appreciate your fine work 🤍

Another great one Sam, I love the longer length videos. Seiya seems like a proper cool guy as well, so chill. The guy in the Hello Kitty apron is by far my favourite photo out of those prints.

The Potato Vlog is back --- and this one was so enjoyable! You got so many GREAT shots. Super inspiring!!!! Also, I LOVE the colors on these photos. So good. I'd like to be able to emulate this style of shooting for sure! My father always told me to print my work. It is very satisfying I think! I have to check out this paper too. Super good.

I love the first one, it's the kind of image I think would look best printed because of the microcontrast in the shadows! I also love the last one, the interaction between the kid conjures enough interest to make the interesting composition and lighting feel like more than just light hunting!

A good 30 minutes. Well balanced, and the pair of you worked well together. The umbrella shot worked best for me. It says Japan in a nice subtle way. I'd be pleased to have that on my wall even if I couldn't brag that I took it!

The photo with the reflections on glass is my favorite. The vertical lines seem to make an interesting transition from a bit warmer on the left with the bicycle to the right where it's a bit colder.

Thank you for this video. It makes me re-think about some preconceptions on how I should photograph, that maybe are not as helpful as I thougt (e.g. neever shoot in company...) All the cameras to demo at the camera store, that looks like so much fun. I see how you could easily spend at least an hour there! My favorite photo is the second one, the street scene with a bunch of people outside of Osaka station. I just like the business of the classic street scene, and there’s a lovely arrangement of layers of people in the scene.

Very good photgraphy day, I find your pictures very solid, the whole series with the trees shadows is very cool and my top 3 is : the monk at Osaka, the bicycle with the neon and the mosaïc, reflexion shot. The mosaïc one is really my favorite but they're all really good; congrats !

the Bicycle shot with the red lights evokes so many things I miss about Japan and its lighting. Despite living near NYC, I'd never get lighting as that..
