Day in the life of a UX (Product) Designer working from home, remote, in San Diego. On this busy Monday in the tech industry, we have many meetings or "ceremonies". I'll also show you a neat trick I started doing in Airtable to keep track of my work and stand-ups.

Hi Mimi! I’m considering going into ui/ux design and I wanted to know what the work/ life balance is like? How did you make time to create content/be a content creator?

Hi Dara! Typically, I believe it would be like most 9-5's, however it's very much dependent on the type of organization along with it's culture. In terms of balancing my full time & content creating, it's still very much something I'm still navigating since I'm still pretty new to all of this. Once I get settled more, I may create a video on it. Thanks for watching :)

Hi, I’m considering UX design, and I’m really interested to learn what the design process is like? What program do you use? How creative is it? Basically what is on your screen the majority of the day, when you are really getting into UX? I have some experience with Adobe programs and can visualize how that works, but I’m finding it hard to find content on what the UX design process is like. ❤️

im considering taking ux design but im pretty introverted... does this job require a lot of meetings public speaking and presentations in front of large groups?

I'm in a good amount of meetings through out the day, but that doesn't mean I'm talking in all of them, sometimes I'm just listening or chime in here and there when needed. I used to do massive presentations when I worked as. a UX Designer at an agency, now as a Product Designer I present to less members on my team.
