You are one busy mom! I'm glad that you were able to make an income through your channel so you could continue to stay home with your kids. I've been a stay at home mom for almost 24 years and my youngest is now 15. My kids have expressed how thankful they are that we were able to make it work for us. One income can be tough at times. Also, congratulations on the dishwasher!

I’ve been parenting for 48 years! First we had two homegrown children, then when we became empty nesters we started adopting and ended up with four more kids. In July 2024 our youngest turned 18 and that’s an incredible milestone for me at 66 and hubby at 73. We have stayed young with our kids but we are so excited to have adult time. We just went on holiday with NO kids for the first time ever! I love your channel.

A tip on the early waking - ignore if you don’t want it. Naps in the day - don’t make the room dark so she knows that night time is different to day time. Or if you do want it dark in the day make sure you open the curtains before taking her out of the cot . So wake time is when it’s light. This starts to encourage waking up in the morning only when it’s light outside

I wish... Both of my kids are early risers (my second mostly because he would hear my oldest up and he became used to her schedule...). I've tried it all, and she never got used to wake up later. Even now, at almost 8yo, she's up around 6am every freaking day, but at least she's old enough to get up by herself, grab a cereal bar and watch some tv. I can't wait until my youngest can do the same :D Oh, and btw, we live in northern Europe, it's very dark both in the morning and evening during fall and winter, and very bright in spring and summer (right now there's light from around 5am to after 9pm!), and they don't change their wake up times because of that. At least it's easy to put them to bed in the evening, and in the rare occasions they go to sleep late they are little monsters the next day (so pretty much every day when we visit my family in Italy, where life happens later ugh). Just like adults, kids have their own personalities, some are early birds and some are night owls.

You have such an adorable family! I've got to say I am quite a bit older than you, my kids are all grown and now have grandkids, but what you do is a real inspiration for young Moms. It seems these days every youtube Mom makes it look like they have it all together, house never dirty ready for insta pics, kids that never cry, or anything go wrong. They make it seem as if they are super human housekeepers and Moms that never rely on an screen time and make 3 well balanced hot homecooked meals a day all while running a youtube channel and caring for their kids, keeping a spotless house and never behind on laundry. It is completely unrealistic and makes young Moms feel like failures. You are a breath of fresh air showing real motherhood and housewife life, and that it is ok to just be human. And sometimes things aren't always perfect, and that is ok. It's real life and a real family. You represent what life is like for most young mothers for real. Thank you.

Try find some foods for your son's lunch that have less sugar, for my kids school lunches I pack 2 carbs, 2 proteins, 2 fruit/veg, icepack & a drink. When my son started growing a lot it became 3 of those things during his hungry phases. The carbs can be bread, muffin, crackers, the proteins can be meat, cheese, yoghurt, pepperoni, the 2 fruits can be applesauce, canned fruit, carrot sticks, sugarsnap peas, cherry tomatos, fresh or dried fruit, the drink is usually their water bottle or a little box milk, & sometimes I'll add some sugar-free flavouring to the water. Our school doesn't allow peanut butter so the sandwiches were meat, cheese & lettuce & a dab of ranch. Make a list of carbs, proteins & fruits/veg that you can pack easily & add to the list as you get more ideas or your ability expands to make different things. This also makes grocery shopping easier. The entire school year I make sure the house is stocked with these things, then the whole summer I purposely don't buy them so we get a break! :)

I just found your channel a few hours ago and I’m not sure if you already follow THE WADS… but I highly recommend watching Kim on KZfaq if you don’t. Like you, she has young kids including a young baby that is still nursing. I’m probably the age of your Grandmother, but I still totally enjoyed watching (especially) your Dawn and Dana videos!!! I’ve followed them for years and years (and years)… lol, I’ve probably tried to do the FlyLady system longer than most, but FAIL with that system. Years ago I started watch Steph, the SECRET SLOB and she encourages her viewers to make the FlyLady system your own… after watching your FlyLady video, MAYBE I’ll attempt it again. My brain doesn’t seem to think the way the FlyLady’s does. Anyway, I am happy your video popped up in my KZfaq thread today… I’ve binged a few hours, so I probably need to go shine my sink.🤣 I look forward to watching more of your videos. Ohhhh and I love your humor!!!

So cute! All of you! I just had to share that I cracked the CleanMama code. I read every free handout on her site and then read a few blogs before I realized the wipe the counters is shorthand for do the dishes, clean up the crumbs etc. I did buy a one month home keeping society and it was enough to figure out the four part system. Start with the daily habits. You can always do more but don’t do less. I really got it when I realized you can’t clean the counters when they are buried ! Then weekly tasks are part two. I love the built in Friday catch up day. I know that if say on Monday only one bath is done I can do it Friday. It turns out that these weekly tasks can be done in about a half hour. Which is about the amt of time to do a load of wash. So while washing is going on I do the task of the day. The third part is the rotation of less frequent jobs. May is baseboards. I hate cleaning my white baseboards. But knowing that I can ignore them for six more months is fabulous. I did the bath rooms baseboards on Monday and on Tuesday I dusted them and the washed them on the last three days. Thee last part really is more organizing and decluttering rather than cleaning. I’m doing this a closet,or drawer or cabinet at a time. I’m a senior with bad knees and I got to where FlyLady just didn’t work for me. Mopping and vacuuming and the changing sheets just wore me out. I hope anyone seeing this comment will try cleanmama as a way to divide chores over 6 days.

Just a thought. When my boys were very little I used to play with them in the evening after they had dinner. From about 7:00 to 8:30 roughly. Quietly and just enough to keep them awake. Then when they were put down to sleep they did not wake up until 6:30 or 7:00. It made the world of difference for my sleep and they continued with this sleep pattern from then on. The 9 months or so that I did it was well worth it. saying that every child is different and you need to do what you need to do. Love your videos.

I love seeing this realistic and relatable routine. I too am a zombie in the morning, but do wake to my kids and it keeps me frazzled and cranky until coffee! 🙈

You're a great mom. It is beautiful, tough, awesome, tiring, and amazing! But then one day they're in their 30's and your house is clean. Enjoy!

I never liked sandwiches either! My mom packed cheese and crackers or a hardboiled egg with a tiny salt shaker. This was back in the dark ages before all the little packaged things we have today. 😂

Skyla is such a cutie! Congratulations on the dishwasher, I don’t know how you went so long without one! Your KZfaq story was very inspiring and I admire how diligent you are with your schedule to be able to edit. My sleep schedule was so bad I had to nap when my son napped and I got up when the baby woke up in the morning, never did my makeup. I wasn’t able to reach goals but it’s inspiring to see that it can be done. ❤

This may sound weird but this video really helped me in some way. I'm also 28 years old and as of right now, I'm trying to figure out my career path. Currently, I'm in the process of getting to work in a kindergarten. Your kids are amazing and I enjoy seeing how kids explore the world. I think it's awesome that you make youtube videos while maintaining your home and caring for your kids and your husband. Also, love the bible time!

One of my favorite channels! As a mom of 2, you make me feel seen and heard even though I have no actual mom friends in real life 😅 I feel like you are my mom friend! So thank you for your videos ❤
