Nice to see glavenus be an animal just wandering around marking it’s territory. The apex predator of the area the only thing this brute has to fear is Diablos but so long as it gives the Horned wyvern a wide birth it remains the unrivalled apex of the wastes

I really like the glavenus, the idea of a t-rex with a big ass sword is hilarious but cool.

I love this type of videos, always interesting to see monster behavior in World, since Rise doesn’t really offers that much in terms of ecology outside the intro cutscenes, I had a question for you... have you seen Bazel hunt anywhere else outside the Ancient Forest? In Rise he does eats Slagtoth, Popo and Gargwa but the hunting animation is so lame, I’ve never seen a Bazel use its explosive scales against any other prey besides Aptonoth

I haven't paid attention enough to him in other parts of the world. Granted he can be found in all corners of the New World that would that's something interesting to see. I think I recall it divebombing Apceros as well. But my memories hazy on that.

It actually does! I’ve seen Tigrex resting and biting walls to mark territory in Rise, Magnamalo will occasionally sit and clean itself like a cat, etc. It’s harder to see because the monsters notice you and engage combat so quickly, but if you keep a distance you will see them engaging in their natural behaviors

Those are apceros! Herbivores common in dry areas. They've been around for a while! Oh, if you meant the little thing running across the screen, those are cactaurs! They were introduced into the Wildspire wastes' biome during the Eorza incident!
