LOVED this video so much, Ashlee....It's a comfort to know other moms are having these very same conversations with their kids. So many times we come across something so fitting in our studies, to the times we are living in. I love how God lines up what we need at just the right times! :) I've found this to be true no matter what curriculum or books we use. God bless! ;)

I always love it when you share your Bible time! My kiddos are little (2 & 4), but it gives me such encouragement to think about homeschooling when they are older and being able to have time like this with them daily.

Loved this video Ashlee, particularly the lesson on meekness. You helped ME with your words of wisdom. I love that homeschooling allows more time to teach our kids about their faith and how it applies to daily life situations. Love the meekness definition! I have heard it described as strength under control. Like a broken stallion going from wild (rage) to willing to listen to authority. I like that too!

Wow! Thank you for including your bible time on this video! It spoke right to my heart today! It was a great reminder to continue trusting God even though we cannot see the bigger picture, even when it does "appear" that the bad guys are winning this spiritual battle on earth right now...the comfort I share with my kids is that we all know how this ends-God wins! Thanks again for being a source of encouragement to us mommas trying to raise our babies to love and trust in the Lord!

Where do your kiddos eat breakfast if the table is all laid out for school the night before? We school at the table too and I feel like I am constantly rotating stuff off the table between eating and schoolwork. I've loved your channel as a first time homeschooler this year. My oldest daughter is borrowing my clothes now--all the ones that don't fit me anymore. My fav salad is the southwestern salad from sams club--it has like corn and crispies. Gotta love mail day! What a pretty wreath!

So smart taking the comfort of God’s sovereignty! I’m unaffiliated (no specific political party), but this is universal! Every election there are millions of disappointed people, but regardless of party or ideology, God is King. We should continue to follow what Jesus calls us to do. If He could narrow it down to first, love God and then, love all (enemies/friends/neighbors), we certainly don’t need to ad lib or make it more complicated❤️✝️ Love your DITL inspo 😊❤️

I have a question for you, how do you choose when it comes to stores who do support and who not to? I have boycotted target for many years and when trying to teach our kids what to stand up for I’m just curious on how you go about that? I know we can’t boycott them all (a.k.a. Starbucks etc.) lol But how do you choose?

I don’t boycott businesses, if we look to the values of every company we purchase or use we would have none left. So instead when I find a Christian company or owner I love, I try to go above and beyond.

Great video! How do you keep your kids from interrupting or running away/playing/making obnoxious noises while you read? I have a 5 year old and this is our main struggle. Obviously consequences happen but I feel that forcing him to sit and listen goes against what I’m going for in our homeschool. 😬

I force and make them listen 😂 for reasonable amounts of time. Self control is only learned when exercised
