Love how relatable your video is. My son was born on 2/9 and he is going through the same exact phase. I also pump and breastfeed. I started from week 2. The reason being, he falls asleep on the breast and then I would have to wake him up and he would feed for 1.5-2 hours at a session and it was too much time with a toddler and five year old. As much as I wanted to ebf, I have to take care of the other kids too. However, I am hoping the bigger he gets he will be more awake at the breast. I nurse about 3-4 times a day, but he usually gets a breastmilk bottle after nursing and will drink an additional 2 ozs. When my husband feeds him, he will drink 4 ozs sometimes 3.5. I think he is right about at 4 ozs now. He has gained almost 3 lbs since birth so I know he is doing good and it works for us. Don’t feel bad at all. You are still giving him the best food with a bottle or boob who cares it still feeds the baby. I am not beating myself up with a third kid. There are days I haven’t went all day to brushing my hair. Lol 😂 It’s only for a little while I tell myself. I am also on a weight loss journey just doing WW for now for breastfeeding moms. However, I still noticed a drop in supply so I am drinking that mothers milk supplement and it seems to work well. I have been getting 6-7 ozs a session and I had dropped down to 3 when I started watching my diet. Good luck with everything little man is super cute! ❤️

My baby was getting lazy eating when she started eating a bottle. She recommended using a syringe and squirting milk into her mouth while she's latched to trick her into sucking harder. It worked SO well. She transitions easily now. I only had to use the syringe once or twice.

The amount you pump is not an indicator of how many oz come out when actually nursing from the breast. A lot of moms give up because they think they don’t produce enough. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Sounds like you’re doing great and doing what you need to boost your supply. If he’s gaining weight, I wouldn’t stress. 🖤🖤

Babies should get 1-1.5 oz per hour. How much you pump never signifies how much milk you have, the baby will always get more milk than a pump. Breastfeeding is definitely a challenging time! There’s lots of growth spurts at first & babies definitely just wanna suck sometimes!

If you don’t mind what size is Ryker wearing? First time mom here and baby is currently weighing in the 73 percentile. Doctor said she’s a little chunky and will most likely weight 8 to 9lbs so unsure how much clothes of what size to buy.
