Here`s the last 5 I got in Glendale on Sunday night. 2 are in the daylight and I got 3 in the dark which really gives a different look to the crossing. All trains are Northbound except for the 3rd one that knocked out the streetlight, Lol!
The fourth train has the CSX passenger at the end of the train that was used at CSX Friends and Family Day at the Queensgate Yard on Saturday.
We got a very long Southbound CSX auotrack train in the dark. and the final train has a Blue CEFX locomotive in the trailing position on the lead end of the train and a Union Pacific rear DPU pushing.

Wow! A very long, for an auto rack, train with a mid-train DPU. Great train, for an auto rack. The cars alone were over 2.5 miles long. It followed a nice short but fast mixed manifest. Good catches, Scott! 😊😊😊❤❤❤

cars and trucks really ain't that much of a load compared to some cargo's!! maybe 20 tons per autorack load compared to 80 plus tons for steel coils or 90 plus for coal!!

Glad you enjoyed it, Robina. I think autoracks are a little lighter than some cars because of all the extra air space around the cars. They are long cars though at 89 feet plus the couplers.

Thanks so much for the night train fix. Been working my butt off getting ready for our clubs' upcoming fine scale model show and as a person on the executive board there's lots of prep work to do but we keep it as fun as possible. I love it when it's just the crossing lights reflecting off the cars. Excellent dark sky video, really hit the spot. Thanks Scott!

Very cool Scott, i do enjoy your videos. Cool to see the signal change in the darkness. My parents got me started when i was 6 with a lionel train set for Christmas. I was hooked.

Thanks David. I am in the same boat with you. I got a train set when I was little, and we lived in a town with the B&O and Pennsylvania railroads running through it and that was all it took!

A long mixed manifest followed what looked to be a long auto rack, although I couldn't see them that well . Still good trains, Scott. Thank you! 😊😊😊❤❤❤

Hey Scott, that blue CEFX engine is owned by NS, look up under the windows and you will see the NS patch. They bought a bunch of those engines from CEFX. They just haven’t switched them over from DC to AC yet and then I’ll be painted into the NS paint scheme, but anyway, my friend another awesome video and I’m glad you stuck around and caught to three night trains and as always buddy you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll catch you next one

Yeah, I knew NS had bought some of those from them. I`ve seen several now and the "NS" is right under the cab windows. I like the color of them, I wish NS would leave them that way!

Hey Scott, I watch your videos daily, very enjoyable. You should be reaching 12K subs soon. You probably already reached that level but this crappy system continues to unsubscribe viewers. I’m curious if you know about RR Company policy regarding graffiti damage to their rolling stock? Untold damage done to their equipment but I never read about any arrests or prosecution. Hi Pete! I talked to a NS policeman once and said he catches the "artists" all the time and it1s a ride to jail and a $750 fine. Yes, I have been noticing the unsubscribe thing too. I am not sure what`s going on there. I have had several folks tell me that they are being unsubscribed by KZfaq, or something else because they aren`t doing it themselves. Thanks for watching!

We end with another fairly long and fast mixed manifest with an end of train DPU. Was the blue locomotive a rental, Scott? And is it the headlight that knocks out the street light? 😊😊😊❤❤❤

Yes, the headlight turns the streetlight off when the bright light hits the photocell on the light. The blue locomotive actually is an NS owned locomotive. They bought them a while back I have been told.

It`s an old picture. It`s called the Glendale Trackside Pub now, but we still call it the Cock and Bull. Old habits die hard. That photocell is pointed right at the tracks. Lol

The headlight from the locomotive turns the photocell off on the streetlight. It comes back on a bout 10 minutes later!
