This week I wanted to try something a bit different.
I filmed the vlog in a documentary style and also tried to film at night. (which is notoriously hard without proper lighting or infrared cameras!).
I feel that I captured the atmosphere and scenery well and really enjoyed putting this little film together.

There is nothing like the peace and serenity of the farm. Joachim's new doggie looks like a border collie. Do the puppy dogs stay out most of the night with the kitties? 🙂👍👍🇨🇦

COVID is nothing compared to this. A massive rocket wiped out the neighboring house - that's much more serious. My windows, doors, a piece of the roof, and the gate were blown away. And then you watch this video - somewhere else, there's still a normal life. That's heartening! 😉

I love sitting out, but I've never been able to record it, because my cameras all need lots of light. I must try and get some infra red scopes. I think it'll make for some excellent footage 😊👍

where I live in central portugal Jan and Feb have been extraordinary rainfall so really hoping march and april are not quite as bad

We are looking for a new home for him to live out his rooster days. In the next video (or two) we will ask the viewers If they want to rehome him, and I'll see if anyone on OLX is interested too. We want him to go to a good home of course.

Enjoyed this laid back farm life. Living in the Golden Horseshoe of Ontario, you forget how dark it gets. Light pollution is a drag. In my neighborhood we have a den of foxes, a den of coyotes, squirrels galore, skunks, rats. I think you need some more trail cameras!! The frogs will be quiet in your presence. Hugs from 🇨🇦

Hi guys!! Loved this episode, so soothing and relaxing!! I think something went wrong with patreon? I had received an email in my spam a week ago telling me I was wrongly charged and so they were going to reimburse me, at that time I thought it was a scam email so didn't pay much attention but the fact is that I stopped receiving news? I need to check whats going on but maybe something happened. Had anyone else had any problems? I had increased my donation and everything!!

Hi Sara I got an email from patreon about 2 or 3 weeks ago, saying that they had charged some of our new users in US dollars instead of euros. They said that the easiest route was for them to cancel/refund the payments intead of trying to work our the exchange rates, and we lost a bunch of subscribersr I have no idea why they did this, and I'm sure it's affected a lot of other accounts too! Ahhhhhhhh huh, that's shit!! What a bummer maybe you should let people know through a short video outside patreon? I just thought it was a scam because we had already confirmed everything was ok so when I say the message and us dollars I went yeah yeah OK whatever. Don't worry I'll subscribe again today or tomorrow and let you know though there when I do it. I'm not even a new user... But as I upped my donation they might have considered me a new one. I believe that it's toad spawn in the "lake" field not frog spawn so you have and even bigger array of wildlife

Loved this idea! I hope you have a pew-pew with you in case one of the wild pigs does come for you. You never know about wild animals!! I hope the little eggs don't dry out, and at least some of the tadpoles make it to the stream. A blind would be good if you could use so.e of the longer, thinner limbs from the pruning to weave and make a blind with like SIMPLE LIFE PORTUGAL did with the garden fence. But he's going to plant roses there and have the vines grow in the wood fence. It's hard to explain typing it. 😅😅 You could do something like that and keep it there for times you want to play hide-and-seek with the night creatures, or Gina!😅 Sorry, Gina!❤! This part of the videos narration was very difficult for me, as I don't like to get political, when showing people life in farm in Portugal, but I am really saddened to see the wheels of war spinning above my beautiful piece of portugal. If I could speak freely without getting cancelled, or deplatformed, them my words would be a lot stronger!
