@@Lusewing honestly, even just the spruce-up of the current map is looking really nice and is gonna be highly appreciated. The old version was very lacklustre to play on LMAO

We don't know the elements of the new water dragons yet. As for the Singe crest it's really wonderful to see it develop. It's actually going to be bipedal and have a low raptor walk.

Sure is, it will be a wood dragon year to, which is apparently for new beginnings and strong foundations.

They can begin working on getting the Mega map decorated (plants, lighting surfaces) once they know there is a stable version of Iris and world partition works for multiplayer, but that will likely take a year for only one environment artist to complete. The map is truly massive.

Fingers crossed. There will still be some legacy servers live while they are needed that will continue to host the current game, and server owners can choose which version of the game they want to run as well.

These are currently the specs they are recommending minimum for the game to be playable: **Operating System:** U1.0 supports 64bit Windows 10/11. We no longer support Windows 7/8 as U1.0 requires DirectX 12. Linux Client support has also been dropped from U1.0 as Vulkan currently does not support SM6. We hope to support Linux again in the future once SM6 support is added to Vulkan. We do not and never will support Mac OS. **CPU:** You will need an AMD Ryzen 5 or Intel i5 (or better) Quad-Core CPU to run the game properly. Older CPU's might work but your framerates will suffer. **RAM:** You will need at least 8 GB (or more) of DDR4. **HARD DRIVE:** You will want to install U1.0 on a Solid State Drive or NVME Drive. Old Hard Disk Drives will not be fast enough to load maps properly before disconnecting you from the server. **GPU:** The absolute minimum Graphics Card to run U1.0 will be an nVidia GTX 960 or AMD RX 64 Vega as those are the oldest cards that support all the technology UE5 is using. However, your framerate will be very low. We highly recommend an RTX 3060 (or better) w/8GB VRAM. Adjusting the proper settings should allow you to play with as low as 4GB VRAM but with very low FPS

They still want to use it for multiplayer but they can only work with what Unreal 5 gives them. They are looking at all options

The game currently has two dragons and a drake with two more dragons, a wyvern, and an amphithere coming in 1.0.

Only time will tell but the Devs seem confident that if not December the February. Better the game comes out working then a buggy mess.

They are planning a single player game for consoles

I can't wait to see all the locations get the upgrade they need. Patreon has seen the big cave by the waterfall and...just WOW - you can fly in there easy

They will still be there, it's the unfortunate nature of any game with PvP. But these modes will not only give people more options to avoid such players, but also show the Developers know it's an issue they want to solve.

@@ddeonu_sunshine8091 That's true yes, it's a brand-new engine, not just an upgrade and the work done on the UE5 update literally would have to be redone to have it work for UE4. Its a shame but everyone will be in the same boat and start fresh with a brand new breeding system and stunning new skins. There will be 2 official UE4 servers supported until they are no longer used by players, and there will be a window of time when you can transfer one set of dragons from a different official server over to the 2 remaining servers. Un-official server will not be affected and will be subject to the server owner. If however the UE4 servers still prove to be popular then the team will look at adding a new Developer to produce content for it, but as it stands they would rather move forward with all the new tools UE5 brings.

The games dragons are inspired by tons of different draconic media, from HTTYD or Game of thrones, to myths and legends. Everyone has a different idea of what a 'Dragon' is and what their favourite is. The DoD team want players to have all the options to play dragons inspired by those that they love.
