Lol I want to do a half skull face, so my 8 month old granddaughter well see and know that it is me and with any luck not be overly scared. I've read meany of the comments posted by your viewers and can see both sides. However, weather it be Dia de los Muertos or Halloween it is a way for people to commune with the dead! How people and/or peoples interact with the other side of the vale. From what I have seen Dia de los Muertos is a time for family and friends to come together to celebrate those who have passed on, with parties and parades, while remembering those loved ones. Halloween is also a time for parties, trick-or-treating, and there is probably somebody out there throwing a parade or two. Lol While, our costumes are meant to hid us from the dead and those things that go bump in the night, there are those who are also thinking of their loved ones who have past on. One of the great things about America is that it's citizens mix and mingle to form the "Great Mixing Pot" and that includes customs and traditions. The desire to use the Dia de los Muertos Sugar Skull makeup design is not an insult to anyone, but a complement and a sign of acceptance and respect of and for another rich culture being added to the rest of the nation! You can call it a sugar skull or just a beautifully painted skeleton head, I don't care, that's what I'm doing for Halloween this year! Happy Halloween everybody! Lol

Dia de los muertos is a sacred tradition..not some kind of costume and yes you can celebrate it in different areas in Latino America not just in méxico.. but its not halloween lol. not a hating comment, but a form of critical criticism/education i suppose. 💚
