Once again a great video Marek. Just one thing, that is the M3 at the beginning part when they cut through Twyford Down to make that motorway. I remember it so well as there was a guy called Swampy who refused to come down out of this tree thus blocking the contractors way. It made the local news and went on for weeks and weeks.

I thought I might have got it wrong. I remember Swampy, wonder what he is up to now.

@@cdwc The M40 and the M3 are linked by a tiny section if the M25 circular.... so if you ignore m25 bit and think of them as just one long road... there's your M43. 👍 Got you out of a tricky situation there mate 👍 All the best Marek well done on Day One... 🙂👍

He's only gone and started it! Yes Marek! As soon as you said a storm was coming I hovered over a random part of the time bar at the base of the screen - toward the end, hoping to see black skies and a disgruntled Marek... I was not disappointed: 6:10 selected and there's Marek with a screwed up face in his waterproof. Perfect bait for me to look forward to later in the video! Anyone who's watched a few cool dudes videos before will know a 2.25 mph walking speed is a lofty achievement for Marek... the overtake was therefore an inevitability!

I downloaded a GPX file and bought a Viewranger App. It cost £20 for the year but definitely worth it. You just import the files and then on your phone screen you can zoom in on the map, there's an arrow which points in the direction you need to walk. I think it's brilliant. Interesting that someone suggested you have some sort of lifetime walking limit. According to this professor on a BBC podcast about walking (good listen imo www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p07y2yjb ) we are capable of doing 15-17km a day without any damage, and it makes our heart health much better 👍 He has a book but all the interesting stuff is in the podcast and his writing style is a bit hard to follow.
