This is the loveable Freddo, a 6.5 year old Rottweiler. At this age, dear Freddo should be in his forever home already. But he’s not.
The sad fact is that dear Freddo has been surrendered twice already. It’s no wonder he’s a little independent. We don’t think that’s Freddo’s personality, to be more the loner, but sadly a product of his life so far.
He hasn’t had the relationships he so deserves, the connections and the trust. When you’re given up more than once, it’s hard to think that making those connections is worthwhile.
He’s a strong big boy that does his own thing, so he needs a committed owner who is going to put the time in with training, earn his trust … and simply never let him down again.
Freddo loved the lure and a paddock chase. He most enjoyed exploring and sniffing free range all over our 32 acres. It was a real adventure for him.
The purpose of these farm days is to give these pups a great day, but to more importantly give them a greater chance of finding a home. Because that’s what’s most important here. The dogs this week and last week have all been overlooked too many times to count. They’ve got their issues sure, but it’s nothing that can’t be helped with the right training, which we’re offering with adoption free of charge. They all want and deserve a home and a loving person of their own. Someone who’ll love them warts and all, and is willing to put the time in to help them.
