I am from the Dominican republic, and I feel kind of proud to see a perfume designer use the dominican coffee as a note in a award winning fragrance! Also the "mama Juana" is very much a dominican drink. I am curious to get my nose on those perfumes. Thanks for the review!

Yeah...I discovered this house about 6 months ago! I tried to mention Tacita de Cafe to you a few months ago...I knew it was going to win awards - I was just so smitten with it! That one, Downtown Deja Vu and Ambar Dominicano were my three favs - I got a discovery set first - then some travel sizes - then full sized bottles! Lol! I am so impressed with Day Three! But, I love Indie Fragrance houses! And look, normally, because I already have many of their fragrances - I wouldn't enter the giveaway. I would want someone else to win and have a chance to experience such a wonderful house - BUT, my older sister is in love with La Tacita de Cafe...Every time I wear it around her - she immediately says: "You are wearing that fragrance again!" La Tacita De Cafe may have won the awards, but Ambar Domincano in my opinion is the best fragrance in their collection, with Del Mar trailing extremely close behind at 2nd place. AMAZING fragrances.

I actually bought a discovery set last week, and just yesterday bought three 10mls from this house! It was so hard to choose, but I ended up getting Downtown Deja Vu, Del Mar, and Say Less. I almost bought Bani, and might end up going back for that too 😅 No need for me to be in the giveaway, just wanted to thank you for highlighting these great indie houses!

I got their discovery set a couple of weeks ago after seeing them on EQ's live. And Holy Cow! They are all beautiful scents and for me its hard choosing which one to get a full bottle of first. My SOTD today is Del Mar. I wore Midnight Whisper last night. Btw I'm in Oklahoma City, OK, US 🤙🏽

I’m from New York and definitely would pick a bottle of Say Less if I win. What I liked most about this video was how you described the way Day Three Fragrances was unlike many of the major houses because they’re more of an indy house and not so repetitive which drives me crazy with some of the bigger houses. You hit it right on the head - they’re all using the same materials, influenced by each other, working in the same environments… It’s refreshing when you can experience something that’s well-made, but not repetitive with so many other brands on the market.

Great review! Thanks for doing the legwork for us! Just ordered the sampler set. If I had to pick one full size bottle of the ones in the video, I’d choose Say Less, as I’d get more use out of it for the rest of the Summer here in Massachusetts. Oh, these sound quite interesting! I definitely need to get my nose on Say Less, since it turns out I’m one of those iris lovers (although Midnight Whisper also intrigues me, so I might have trouble deciding). Your descriptions are so evocative I feel I really get a sense of what a fragrance will be like, and whether there’s a decent chance I’d like it. You make that easy! Here in Arizona there aren’t any good places to smell a lot of niche and indie perfumes directly, so I always have to rely on ordering decants-not readily available for smaller houses like this one. So I also really appreciate that you highlight them alongside bigger names in perfumery.

I would love to try Say Less! I am a huge fan of Iris and your description sounds so lovely! My favorite kind of iris is the clean, powdery and/or musky iris but I also have a big appreciation for brands that put a unique twist on it. I am in Florida. I love to support those Indie houses so they can create more unique fragrances and thank you for doing leg work for us by introducing new brands that not many ppl know of. If I had to choose one in a bunch of these great choices, I'd choose Say Less. Lately I have been enjoying more of a powdery, musky, clean skin scent and Say Less sounds like a good opt to add to my collection. I'm in California!!

I bought La Tacita De Cafe in April when I saw it was nominated for the Arts & Olfaction award, and I enjoy it but I think I'll enjoy it a little more in the Fall. Say Less was a sample with my order and I FELL IN LOVE. Such a beautiful fragrance. It reminds me a lot of Bal D'Afrique. I got the discovery set a few weeks ago and plan to buy Say Less with the discount. I'm commenting from NY, if I had to get a third bottle it'd probably be Downtown Deja Vu or Midnight Whisper. :)

Commenting from Michigan, La tacita would be my pick, I love coffee and gourmands and the idea of a fragrance similar to that but not quite in gourmand territory sounds super interesting to me! Thanks for the video, I feel like I always walk away from your reviews with a good idea of the general vibe a fragrance will have

Another great video sir, thank you! I really enjoyed how you opened with the award winner and then ended with what you enjoyed - they all sound really great, but you’ve sold me thus far on say less! If I were to win I would love a full bottle (although I do plan on getting a discovery set regardless haha) I’m reaching out to you from California (East Bay)

The best part I liked about the video was when you said they use ingredients that are not the common ingredients. Always looking for scents with new profiles. They all sound great but I’d start with “Midnight Whisper”, sounds delicious. GA.

I really like this House I already bookmarked their Website, love the bottles, love the logo, definitely will get the discovery set. My favorite trusting your nose: Midnight Whisper, second Ambar Dominicano and third La Tacita de Café (love the name!). Say less sounds great, but not my favorite style of fragrance. What I'm really interested in trying is their mango scent Baní. Price is on point great discovery!! Thank you Sebastian!!! Texas

How have I not heard of this brand? Everything sounds fantastic! I’d have to choose Midnight Whisper because I love boozy fragrances, but looking further into the brand on fragrantica, I’d also like to check out others from the brand such as Silent Rescue. Thank you for the opportunity! PA, USA

I read That LA Tacita De Cafe' had won an award. Congratulations to Mike and his brand. I ordered a discovery set myself, and I certainly enjoy his work. I bought a bottle of the award winner. However, I could have easily gone with at least 4 of the others available in the set. My actual favorites that I'd love to get a bottle of in due time are; Ambar Dominicano/ Midnight Whisper/ Silent Rescue/ Bani Michigan, USA

Midnight Whisper is an Aaron Terence Hughes quality rose fragrance. In my top 5 rose fragrance list. I have the discovery set. Good job describing the fragrances and agreeing with me about Midnight Whisper as your favorite. 😁 I'm in the USA

I have seen several youtube reviews on this house, and all of them have really raised my interest in trying all the scents. The best part of this video was the descriptions of Ámbar Dominicano, though all of them sound great. I'd be thrilled to win either giveaway. Even if I don't win, I will end up buying the discovery set when my budget allows!

Midnight whisper sounds lovely as I’m a big boozy frag fan. I love hearing about new houses, especially Indie variety because as you said I’d you’ve been into this hobby for a while it’s difficult to experience unique scents. Also really enjoy the new camera/phone set up, looks excellent. I reside in Minnesota.

DEL MAR is so far my favorite from the discovery kit i got. I still need to try SAY LESS and SILENT RESCUE. I'm excited to try SAY LESS now. CALIFORNIA.
