Да, по-венгерски мы говорим "éjszakai pillangó", или "éjjeli pillangó", что означает "ночная бабочка", то есть проститутка.

I chose a random lesson to review in the middle of January 2024. This lesson is now pleasingly simple! 🙂 It takes a while to become familiar with Russian language and I still have soooo much to learn, but it is a nice feeling to feel confident with this lesson. 😀 This is all thanks to you Nastya 💐🌹🌼🌱🌷🍀🌻🌺

In my language (Portuguese) we have a lot of expressions for this, but one that is fun is just calling "prima" (cousin) 😂😂😂

"Night Butterfly" or "Butterflies of the Night." Such a pleasant term. All of the slang in my country is derogatory. The nicest term which mentions "night" is "Ladies of the Night" - but that's an old fashioned term. I've only seen it in old books or heard it in old films. The names they say now, I won't repeat here!

моя сегодняшняя короткая история: О Валентине Валентина - изысканная женщина, очень культурная и уважаемая. Она тоже энергичная, жизнерадостная женщина, которая любит путешествовать по миру. Она посетила более 50 стран. Каждый раз она посещает страну, она фотографирует главные достопримечательности, улицы и уроженцев места. Фотография - Это одна из её любимых хобби.

I had guessed that it meant moths rather than butterflies as they tend to come out at night. Never heard it anywhere before.

In the German language rather bird names plus pavement are used, not "butterfly", e.g. "Bordsteinschwalbe". And they seem to wake up and start working round about noon...(in Berlin, where I once had seminars at a university instutute near *Kreuzberg". Female students always had to be warned.)

Назад, также в Японии их звало с же самом словом, то есть устаревший. Сейчас, нечего не есть значиться особенно. Только есть "роль" "девушка" жаргонов.

Спасибо за урок, Настя! 😊👍 Regarding 21:35, '... в Лондон', shouldn't that be 'в Лондоне' because It's in prepositional case? 🤔

Я тоже задал себе вопрос. Может быть потому что вы переедите в Лондон чтобы жить там, а не переедите чтобы жить в Лондоне. @Настя, можете объяснить ?
@stivosaurus

Good question! I think it is accusative case because London is the destination of travel.
@TheRealMick
@TheRealMick 11 ай бұрын
Nastya read it this way several times, which suggests that it is indeed supposed to be 'в Лондон', but 'жить в Лондоне' was used later in the story with apparently the same translation, so I am currently confused by this (as usual! 😄).
