The attack speed is really noticeable to me, but I've never been able to understand quite what "accuracy" means. Like in my experience, if your spacing is right, you'll just hit them. "Accuracy" implies there's a chance to miss even if you've done everything else right. I'd kind of assumed that references to accuracy were relevant to previous game versions that I haven't played

@@tommeakin1732 it's really just the quality of the hit, like say, hitting them in the head instead of the shoulder, it also affects night time hit chance.

@@tommeakin1732 Much like how if you hold your attack a bit longer (instead of just swinging like mad) you're more likely to hit something important with higher accuracy and kill the zombie outright. It's just like using guns in this game: You can hit a Z with bullets and they might stumble back all day, but get a clean hit and they're down for good.

@@halfknight6706 I think it has more to do with all the big name brands who want to use KZfaq as a distribution platform, but would often get downvoted. To make KZfaq more advertiser and brand-friendly, they decided to remove the mechanism by which content consumers intuitively judge how many of their class dislike the video. That's how I read it, anyway. :P Now big brands don't have to worry about their name being soiled by the number of viewers dunking on them. Hurrah for them, I guess. I'm imagining they didn't want to disable comments and votes on their videos because every time we see a video with those things disabled, we instinctively expect to encounter some bullshit. It's another form of passive control. By reducing the public's awareness of the negative responses by others, it reduces rowdiness and makes the disputed content appear less bad.

No, you've got it wrong. It's to protect corporations. Remember the ghostbusters trailer? I'm sure you can think of other major examples, but corporate interests definitely don't want to see their advertising campaigns hit with a clear and obvious sign of people disliking their product, but they also know hiding the ratio will make it look like it's disliked anyways, so they told youtube to remove dislikes.

Archery also applies. Either you taught one person how to fight with a sword effectively, or you gave them a bow and let them go crazy. Maybe they hit someone, maybe they didn't, but the enemy is still way over there and you got a lot of people with bows doing the exact same thing.

I have the same feeling.

All hardcore, full loot multiplayer games with open servers always turn into Rust. It is inevitable. Such people will be attracted to the game, and people more interested in cooperation and base building will be forced out by these people. So the official public servers will be hostile, toxic and aggressive.

@@halfknight6706 precisely why I'm never playing PZ on a public server. I'll just play with people I know (which unfortunately, isn't many). The new update looks dope tho, can't wait for it to hit IWBUMS
