I don't think it is a matter of "needing" it. I think it is just that Young & Free is supposed to be more modern and upbeat, so they use it for the sound. That is my estimation, anyway.

i love how verse 1 makes us think like wow ive reached this far in my life and yet i still feel so empty. tried running away from church and getting lost in my decisions and then the pre chorus and chorus just showed that deep enlightenment that wow all these times he was right there and he never left

This song is so anointing. We all face hard times. It could be a relationship with you gf or bf that your struggling with. Or family issues. Or you feel alone. We are never alone bc god is always by our side to catch us when we fall. And he’s constantly saying to get back up , you can do this and I’m with you every step of the way. I love hillsong. And I love god!! 🙏🏻 He sent his only begotten son to die for us. So we wouldn’t have to pay the price. He did that for all of us!
