This band, Tele Novella is just BRILLIANT!!! Tele Novella is like a magical salve rescuing our tragic world so starved of true songwriting talent, the likes of which this band possesses in astonishing abundance. With a lyrical and melodic sure-footedness only found among the most elite folk and pop singers, lead singer Natalie Ribbons leads us through her delightful twists and charming turns on an enchantingly clever musical journey with the help of her genius band, so tastefully understated. Each one of the musicians so sublimely fulfills their respective parts that oftentimes they seem to vanish away into the aural tapestry, in total service to the SONGS which Natalie serves up with such wondrous charm. Her singing is so sincere and touching, sometimes plaintive, yet innocently sweet and always original. Natalie is an amazing composer who has an incredible grasp of melody and clever chord progressions. She is also a brilliant lyricist who seemingly pulls pure poetry out of thin air. She has a great voice, so communicative and alluring. And finally she is very attractive. How is she not already a huge celebrity? And the rest of the band is so totally professional, especially guitarist Jason Chronis. I want to hear so much more from Tele Novella! LOVE at first hearing!! 💓

Really good band, inventive and unique. Merlyn Belle is a fine album, this live performance captures the vibe. Would have loved to hear Crystal Witch in this playlist. Natalie is a helluva good songwriter.
