I recently bought a Flotec Booster 3/4" and 3/4 horse from northern tool. It has a stainless steel pump. I need to know if I can use it for softwash, but it look so much similar to your Dayton booster pump.

How is that flotec pump working for you?

That was interesting, Doug. Makes me wonder if you replaced the bowed plastic piece and if it's possible to sand blast the corroded areas if the pump would work like new. Do you think you can get the debris out or is it impossible to get to? I wonder how much more use you can get from those pumps with maintenance like you just did... Thank you for doing this. As Artie Johnson would say "Very interesting!"

Hey Vic, yeah, I think I could get the debris out and do a little maintenance and be right back at it with this pump!

What are booster pumps used for

Great video Dougie do. Very informative. I was surprised to see relatively minor harm from running sauce though the pump. Would you say typical usage for exterior cleaning @ 1% sauce or was it used a lot for roof cleaning with 3% or higher?

Mostly for house washes so really about 1%. There were times it was ran at 3-4% but the norm was 1% with a ton of water after.
