Great reviews sir,I hope you doing well. Anyway, I was looking for a new jack when I came across your reviews. I was hesitant to go buy it because the Pittsburgh jack I had did not lower well. But after seeing your demonstrations on the Mustang. I feel more confident in making my decision. Have a wonderful day!

Should move the cross beam jack further forward. Center of gravity is around the location of the steering wheel. They are nice jacks. I have the Daytona Super Duty that is the Snap On clone. Would like to add the one you have to the arsenal.

Sounds like a good idea to add to your collection. As you know the Super Duty is a really nice jack, very well-built with 5 zerks for servicing. The long reach while not quite as solid a build as the Super Duty and only 1 grease zerk will go lower and higher than the Super Duty. They just had an excellent deal in it for $180. at HF I missed it. Of course prices have gone up since this excellent vid.

when you have it installed properly do you have any wobble? or is the cross beam tight?? Ive recently just bought a setup with the cross beam. When installing it comes with a ring to use only with non lowprofile jacks. When installed on my lowprofile jack the crossbeam is nice and firm and without using the ring (like suggested) its has wobble like up and down. What is yours like?? TIA

Did the spacer come with the crossbeam? I got one I been trying to find out how it goes on but I never got the spacer.

After raising it w crossbar where did you end up placing a front jack-stand? Seems like the cross-bar was so far forward on the frame it left no room for a stand. Thanks for the video, I have the same jack.

Going to buy one right now actually. I have a 2 part problem. 1. My wife's car is to low for my current jack to fit under. 2. My jeep is to big for the same jack to even reach my axles before it runs out of reach. I've made due long enough using ramps with a jack or blocks on the jack. Not a bad old jack just not what I need to get the job done.

When turning the handle counter clockwise to open the valve, does your have a stop point or does it just keep freely spinning?

I only turn mine far enough to start lowering the car. My instruction guide said to only do that and no more!

If it is BARELY going up, wheels seized, and is sketchy, yeah brother salute that old jack thank it for its service and it let it rust outside next to your shop or something. Glad you able to upgrade to a nice one!

How is it that everyone doing these Harbor Freight jack reviews seems to own both a Mustang and an F-150? Haha, jk. To each their own. The jack doesn't care what emblem is on the front. Thanks for the very helpful review!

Alex, I did definitely have to bleed the jack, and I did add fluid, however I did add too much, and it made the jack a little squishy. I did find these are somewhat picky about the fluid level! -Tim

After long-term use, what is everyone's opinion on fancy colors (paint), use, dirt, oils, ....trying to consider color options probably go with black,, these fancy colors (green, orange, red,)After use take a beating and look horrible.

@@franciscorojas274 Yeah, it goes in between the bolt and the bar. I just slip mine onto the bolt and drop the whole thing in and screw it on. -Tim

When you measure you should do it from the bottom of the center of your wheel arch and not from your wheel as the suspension will push the wheels down which doesn’t give an accurate reading. The suspension will typically lower the wheels about another 4-6 inches which isn’t accurate.

Yeah, that was because I actually overfilled the jack a little bit. I had to siphon off a tiny bit of fluid. Apparently, these jacks are very picky about the fluid level.

Some people like me have older floor jacks that wonder what size the bore hole on the cross member is sadly this CRUCIAL information was left out ..thumbs down,jeez.
