Daytona Beach Resort and Conference Center Fire Alarms Going Off

Күн бұрынThis is across the street from the Daytona Beach Resort Conference Center, on May 13th, approx around 1am. The fire alarms were going off, then Fire, Police and Beach Patrol arrive on scene. It appeared most of the hotels guest had evacuated the hotel and were congregating in the front parking lots while Fire officials inspected the building. I personally did not see any Smoke or Fire coming from the building, and believe this was a false alarm.

My favorite hotel in Daytona..but I can I never saw thg that down there.

If the pull hasn't been reset then yes it will activate again also usually once you clear the smoke from the smoke detector the reset will automatically turn the light on the detector off and the system should go back to normal. I bet it is either your pull station theory or a malfunctioning/dirty smoke detector.

The fire alarm at my old school went once because it raining and some water got in the system

It does not take much to set off a smoke detector we set off our fire alarm when had our floors refinished and then painter also our fire alarm that tied our security system

Nice video, seems like there is a malfunction with they system because it went off again. Were both buildings going off? Kind of hard to tell because of all those little dots that are synced. Yeah must be a major malfunction so yeah.

@trevordon1021 Either that or the detector or pull was still activated. If they try to reset the system when that happens it re-activates.

Daytona Beach Is Located In Volusia County, Florida. I Also Have These Alarms At My Middle School. They Went Off Today. Fun Fact: The SpectrAlert Classic Was Made Between 1997 And 2006.

@cpj5694 That's good possibility also. But I'm sure the fire department had fire fighters at where the trouble spot was or it could of been real.
