Heading into Daytona, we came off with an improvement from last weekend's race... In Round 8, things didn't exactly go as planned, with the results not being what Christian strived for them to be. A frustrating night in Daytona isn't what we had planned, but unfortunately, it happened. This week we will certainly take the time to reflect on everything and make sure to work on improving our strengths on the racetrack, to be all set for next weekend at Indianapolis!

Im one of those guys that wishs you could have stayed at star and let dylan go. Your a better all around rider imo! He gets hurt too much and man the last 2 were hairy!! Wow!! Good luck bro and do what you do!! I almost forgot to say how cool it is the way your family and haiden get along so good, like family and he said you took him under your wing and your like a big brother. Thats really cool!

Christian, I have been a HUGE fan of yours from the beginning. I was a HUGE fan of your dads as well. I know this is easier said than done, but please believe in yourself!! You are a great rider. I think you are just too hard on yourself, you have nothing to prove, though I'm sure you believe you do because of it being your first year in the 450's. Just like your dad, when he let things go and just rode there was NO ONE that could beat him. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND THE RESULTS WILL COME!!!!!

Christian and family, I remember what great people and role models you were for Deegan last year, and that's when I really started following the channel because it was so cool and natural for you to be like that...but all you need to remember are a couple things. First, no one could touch you in the 250s last year and you were like a machine, so once you've been on the 450 for a bit longer, why should you or anyone else doubt you'll be the same AND I don't think I've ever known of a more stacked field in the 450s and you're right there in the thick of it...improving every week, so keep your head up!

I want to see Christian fight for a position, I havent seen him set his sights on the position in front of him and put on a charge to take it, if anything would build confidence it would be making a pass like that.

@@blakefowler21 you and me both. It’s frustrating me seeing how he did that on a 250 last year. Granted the Yamaha is the far superior 250 machine. But still. He’s in his own head afraid to let his nuts hang and go get it. Drives me nuts. He just needs to go out there and battle. Never gonna be better than 10-12th doing what he’s doing. He’s letting the bike ride him and not riding the bike.

My man! The mental strength you already have is why your story is so great! For you to overcome the things you have and come back to this sport with a mindset to become a champion and dominate the way that you did last year could be made into a movie! Christian l can see a big difference from you last year. You rode the 250 out of anything,on the 450 you holding on letting the bike get you out. Go back and look at you ride through the pack with elbows out,butt back more especially in the whoops. Ride like the champion you are. This is your dream,factory ride 450. See yourself in the fight,you are a top 450 rider and that all know so go get it🏁👍

Wow that's a bit heavy... think it's more accurate to say the guys on the podium got away cleaner, held the pace out of the type of traffic Christian was in... and pulled away. Maybe it's all the extra energy used in the early part of the race... that slowed his times towards the end! Not his best race which I'm sure he would say too... but it is certainly not as you put it! Great vlog, keep up the great work on the track and off it, think your kit looks one of the best out there... wishing you all well for Indy.... 👍😊

Sometimes racing deals the cards a bit harder! Harder also back in the pack, using more energy and making for those slower later laps I'm sure! Chin up and on to the next round, riding clean and not crashing! Sure as the days pass, the result feels better in the circumstances of the first lap... All the best, looking good.... 👍😊

Hard to judge the guy off a 20 min KZfaq video, but it seems like Christian is too hard on himself. Dude is more talented and has a higher race IQ than most of the field. He's right there with the top 7 guys and belongs there. Just needs to focus on riding for him and not worrying about trying to help his sponsors and team recoup their investment by pulling off podiums every week in a brand new class. The Craig's bring a ton of eyes to the sport and Christian is an amazing ambassador for racing as is. Throw some whips and have fun.

I garente if u make christian more of a highlight of his own KZfaq channel an make him feel special it would ignite a flame back in his desired to race an finish up front or even podium.but I'm sure I'm not the only one to see he is it happy when he is filmed pls give him a ADABOY every once in a while an have him feel excepted he will progress bc he thought process will be changed to a more positive what if it almost looks like his is down even bfor he gears up an even practices momma help him out give him an adaboy make him feel wanted An he will shine. we all know he can do this for he is a great rider racer or the hardest sport on earth.

Were you better when you started 250? Probably not, it takes at least a season to get the 450

Just my opinion, but Christian is better than 10th. I do feel he should be sitting right around 7th in all his races which overall he is in 8th which isn't bad... 450 is stacked. I don't see him beating the Tomac, sexton, webb, Rozen or Anderson anytime soon which is totally normal for his 1st year. Those other guys have been in 450 supercross for years. Year 2 or 3 I think we 100% will see podiums.
