Ok. Weird question. But I have noticed that every flyer lifts their shoulders for a sec then they do the stunt. Is that to warn the base that they are about to start?

Good eye. That's one way, also a twitch of the foot in a certain direction. Not to mention tons of practice,timing, and precision. But the ABSOLUTE main part is 100% ***COMPLETE*** ***TRUST***!.... Without that your practice,time,blood ,sweat,and tears or skill level don't mean a damn thing!

A lot of us do it before big tumbling passes too. It's an indication for our bases, but it kind of snaps the flyers brain into focus as well. For me at least

slow motion makes the stunts look LESS impressive. Keep it at 100%. Those who want it slower, can use youtube's 0.5 speed option.
