I trade cash only and I have a relatively small account, so I definitely struggle with getting out of losing trades because I can't stand the thought of tying up capital for 2 or 3 days on what turns out to be a losing trade. So the hope is that the stock will rebound, but naturally when it doesn't I end up losing even more on the trade. I need to get out of that mindset! Thanks for the insight!🙂

I've always learned a lot from Ross' videos, BUT, I wish he would say, more often: "I made 15¢ on that trade" instead of saying "I made $32,000.00 on that trade". This would be so much easier to identify with for the average viewer.

Im still paper trading. Yesterday I had my first dark red day. I made 1000 dollars into 7000 (by trading futures) within the week. So yesterday I blew my trades by just doing what you are talking about here: holding the losers in hoping it will go up again. Thanks for this eye opening video!

I’m not sure why I haven’t subscribed sooner bro, but all your videos make sense . Im a breakeven trader trading 1:2 , at 30 % win rate . See my pro is I tried cutting my losses short twice just to watch it never hit my stop loss and go right into profit . When I attempted this I had drawn 50 % of my stop loss where if it retraced that far back I’d get out. Just didn’t feel good watching it go right in profit . Any idea on this please ?

How about stop losses when shares of a $10 stock at 2 cent stop is relevant to a stock of $500 of $20 cent stop ? Can you elaborate because if I'm in a good position why not have just a 2 cent trailing stop from the begining of my position risk 2 to win 20?

The optimal time depends entirely on your strategy. Ross's strategy works extremely well in the premarket.

Hello warrior trading, I have been a fan for a long time and really want to start doing stocks but I would like too know what app or platform I should start on because I won't be doing a lot of training each day like you do but I also don't want to pay the $100-300 a month just to be able to play with stocks starting off. When you run a hot key on a bid is that considering a market buy order? Dont you get get filled in a bad spot on market orders if its limit how do you set a price in time ?

Ross will offset the order with a limit price .05 cents below the bid, this will make sure he doesn't a super bad fill.

The real question is when a trade becomes a loser and at what point do you realize and admit that? Many times by the time I realize it is losing and not just a bit of pulling back it is already late. So how do you know WHEN to pull the trigger?

I would say trading small (20% and less) until your a pro, solves many problems like controlling the fear of losing n it keeps any losses low as well, even if your not a good loser yet. 🎉🎉🎉

Ross focuses on managing his risk and make sure he is getting out where he planned before entering the trade.

What trade size do you use on a small and large account?

Ross determines his share size based on his risk tolerance and stop loss on the trade. If Ross decides not to risk more than $1000 on any given trade, and he determines that he wants to buy a stock at $5, he might place his stop at $4.80. This means that he has a $0.20 stop. With his $1000 risk in mind, this would allow Ross to buy up to 5000 shares. Every trader's risk management will look different, though a general rule is that traders should risk no more than 1% of their account on a trade.

You can't beat this game with only 66% winners, you need minimum 85% winners. You are "guessing" at trades, sorry, your trades are not high priority trades, if they were your winning percentage would be 85%.. You can't beat this game by guessing trades ESPECIALLY if you are scalping. Since you're such a successful trader I'd like to see you trade live from market open for a period of 30 days.. bet you don't except.
