we went to see the tulip fields of the netherlands!
spring is the best season to see #tulips in the #Netherlands. far away from the most touristy places (like the keukenhof) we followed the Tulpenroute in the Noordoostpolder, in the province of #flevoland.
we went the day after king's day (28th April) and there were still quite some tulips. it was actually quite nice to see the tulips in this area, as it is much less crowded.
