Or go to the apartments like ive done find a room you can build a watchtower in block the door with one of the posts stopping people getting in. Cant destroy watch towers. So it's basically impossible to get in. Only thing you need tho is an alt account in the base to ship stuff from the entrance inside.

Personally I like the wire trap on top of bolata apartments. One wall inside the top apartment nobody see’s it from outside and unless someone goes up to the top and dies in the trap they won’t know

I play mods mostly now, but I also have a one official character on first person server and I am having fun with that one too, no base building. I also unlocked a 4 digit combination lock and raided a base, but he had nothing worth taking and I just lock it back for them.

Bases are mostly for roleplay in dayz. Or just a fun activity for groups. You should never leave any valuable loot there. Stashes are the way to go. I only keep lower value loot inside the base. Nothing really worth the trouble of raiding it. Other than a car maybe. And I wouldn't even bother if you are a solo. It's more a place for groups to meet up.

@@benanders4412the amping of stashes I've found in Woods is silly tho and no protection You just need to build a solid base, 15 gates so people don't waste time getting in

@@skidstoleave I did find stashes. But have used stashes for more than 4 years now and never lost one. Pro tip; Cut down a tree with low hanging green branches. Burry your stash at the place the tree stump was placed. The tree will be back standing after restart on top of your stash. It's almost impossible to see unless somebody cuts down the tree.

I wondered the same thing. I just built a couple of gates and fences outside the same house and couldn't get any fences installed inside the house, not even in near of the door (ps5)

@@DarkdragonProYT on ps5/ps4 i'm unable to build walls inside any building i try except 1 gate on barns. Though i did see some reddit threads where people were you saying you have to get lucky with the building (pc players)
