I've heard online that Surgical mask protect 50% for infection and Gas Mask and GP5 are 100% and the DayZ wiki says the Surgical Mash has an Absorbency of 90% So I think it would help prevent the spread of common cold but there is still a small chance that you could catch it

But lets be real, the common cold is a disease you catch with so little effort and just by running around. Its also easy to cure it. So it does’nt really matter if you get it or not. Btw, you can also cure it by taking multivitamin pills. At least this worked when I tried to cure it last time I played.

Sorry about that. I'm still learning about getting the correct background music for my videos that match the videos pace or theme so I sometimes just choose some relaxing music in future I will try to get some more variation in the music

it is very rare to spawn and may only spawn on certain server but can be a lifesaver to instantly revive a unconscious player

That would be a good improvement for making the medical system more realistic!

They are more likely to spawn at medical facilities but there is a small chance to find them in other places like regular houses

Try out some friendly servers or even maybe some RP servers would be cool to see a DR character

They way it works is the Letter at the top of the Chart is who you are taking the blood from and the letter on the left of the chart is what blood type you are match them in the middle and then there is a tick or a cross depending if you can or cannot use their blood to regain health

Codeine Pills are used for treating sprains and fractures but as broken bones are not in DayZ 1.08, Codeine Pills are not officially spawning in as the currently have no use

What if you get shot, run into a building a pop a codeine. Would that help let's say, limping effects from low health?

You can try to wash your hands and making yourself be sick can help get the infection out your body but make sure to keep eating, drinking and keeping warm

I think you are guaranteed to die at that point maybe unless you force yourself to lose blood maybe that could help but I'm not sure

I googled it and people said drinking alcohol to make their character vomit and constant using saline saved their character so I would try that out

@@JackoKov I got sick from overheating(didn't know you could) because I was running in the rain and forgot to take all the hot steaks out of my cloths when it stopped. I'm solo , I've recovered twice but I still have some of the meat from when I got sick. But I'm playing on official so I don't just want to throw it away , but I've also heard you re infect yourself with helmet,facemask etc but I don't want to throw that stuff away either lol I even disinfected it all and still got sick again.

You have to either disinfect or drop the items you wear on your face, such as glasses, masks, helmets, everything. If you continue wearing it you'll be reinfected

try to play some modded servers, they are much better

Was you close to anybody who had a cold or was you doing anything that could warrant a cold as seen in the video? I think the devs need to add improvements to curing yourself as there is no given info or if you are getting better or not

Yeah I’m not sure what things are on what version but hopefully we get everything on all versions eventually
