I do add two top coats but I don’t wait the 5 minutes in between, just as soon as I finish the other hand come around and apply the second top coat.

I have very ridgy nails too. Due to genetics, age, and damage done by acrylics. My skin developed a sensitivity to the acrylics (not an allergy) and it took over a year for them to grow back normally. So that might have caused my nails to have more ridges. I have to wear a ridge filler and don’t wear sheer polishes. So I feel for your model.

Where can I find Dazzle Dry in Canada. There is one place in Vancouver but you can only order the base and top coats and the mini kit, which I ordered. But I want other colors, the one that you suggested. Thank you so much and I love your video.

If I use the pure white color on my discolored nails (due to many different colors of opi used on a regular basis), will they have a chance to get a little whitened from the white pigment in dazzle dry?

Hi Iza! No, polishes don’t stain like this. The most notorious pigments that stain are yellow and red. Also the yellowing that you experience wearing regular polish is caused by nitrocellulose most likely than the pigments. Dazzle Dry doesn’t contain nitrocellulose so it doesn’t stain the nails yellow

I’m regards to two topcoats, DD recommended to use prep, then a coat of base then apply a coat of top… it’s quite a process, but it’s the same for recovering shine as well

That is when you are doing a touch up later on, when the top coat is fully dry. If you want to use 2 layers of top coat then you apply one after the other right away.

Your man is right that not many men would do what he does for you. My husband won't even touch any of my nail stuff. The one time I broached the subject of painting his nails for fun, he cut me off--most firmly--when I said, "So would you let me paint your--" "NO." "--nails?" "NO. Not ever." And my hubby is otherwise one of the gentlest and easiest-going people you could ever meet. But when it came to that, he became type-A alpha. Sigh.

is the nail prep the same as alcohol, or does it have some special properties that would cause me to use nail prep only instead of alcohol?

Here are the ingredients for Prep: Isopropyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40B, Water, Ethyl Acetate, Calcium-D-Pantothenate, (a little hydrating?)
