Hey Denise, try a small smooth roller next time. This type of roller I’m talking about is usually used on metal but are good for painting smooth surfaces as well and it will save you some coats. Also try polycrylic paint finish. Still not sure if it’s going to hold up long because of heat and resistance of people sitting in the chairs though. It’s usually near the wood aisle in a quart. I use to be a Product and Paint Rep for Sherwin Williams years back. Anyway it still look beautiful 🤩

Is there a specific roller? I tried a foam roller and it just soaked the paint up. Also, thanks for the advise about the polycrylic. I don’t like the feel of the matte finisher I used. The material isn’t as flexible as it was before I added it so I’ll definitely try that next time. TFW💕

@@DazzlingDesignsByDenise it’s not the foam roller but it’s almost look like foam except it’s thick with no wholes. When you go to a paint store ask them for the smooth roller you paint cabinets with. I wish I had the name of them sorry.

I don’t know how I feel about someone coming on another ones DIY channel and telling them how they should’ve done their project when their project came out just like they wanted it to and with no issues & then make a suggestion about using something different and not even knowing if what was suggested even works 🤔 Maybe said person should make their own video

@@justsayin3195 listen i was never bashing her diy video. I LOVE all of her videos. I was only giving a suggestion about a roller so she wouldn't work as hard. Just like every other female that comment and gave opinions and suggestions. An yes my fault I cant remember the name of the roller but is that a crime. Like you are really doing the most. Thanks for your response sweety but argue with another Karen that wants too.

NOW people coming here to start crappola, yea i have issues wuth that-trouble making troll! lol also try and listen, she says in her vids, what do you think, pls tell me what you think.

Whoah! These look fabulous Denise. I’ve seen people painting sofas but never leather. I always thought leather could only be sprayed but we learn everyday 😄 The finish is very smooth. You did a great job as always

Interested in hearing how the paint stands up to wear and tear over time; especially the kitchen chairs! I am looking forward to your kitchen transformation. BTW, how is your lower level bathroom faucet holding up? The one you painted last year?

Hey! The gold has faded a bit so I’ll have to touch up the sink again soon but I still love the look and don’t mind refreshing it annually. I painted the sink because it’s a guest space with minimal use but my eldest daughter moved down their until she purchased her house so it’s been getting daily use. She closed a couple of weeks ago so I’ll have my space back again soon :) I’m also curious about how the chairs will hold up. I’ll keep you posted. 🤞TFW💕

Yes please let us know how long the chairs seem to last or hold up to where in tear-I have a huge living room set that’s real leather that the cat has scratch and it is pearl leather I’d love to change it to white but I would hate it if it didn’t stay looking like that
