REMASTERED VERSION OF THIS HERE: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p7WTpdl-37aWk2g.htmlsi=Ss8702RVJa2-itro Even though this is kinda old, it seems this video is blowing up more recently, so I thought I'd go back and explain my thought process when making this. I really wanted to capture the vibe of FNAF 3, and also the darkest parts of the FNAF story in general. I did a lot of research into other DBD Springtrap Terror Radius concepts by other people, some of which I liked, some I didn't too much care for. (My personal favorite is Mr Envy's terror radius, which is probably better than mine). Not that some were bad, but some were too dance-y and catchy (which clearly means its good music, just not 'primal' enough) for my personal taste. I wanted to focus on a more booming, industrial threat that sounds like a broken glitching arcade game that turned into a monster. Something that was once loved by kids but now has been distorted beyond repair. I also took from inspiration from stuff like TJOC and Alien Isolation, in both of those games the monsters have fast and booming footsteps when they are chasing you, so I wanted to kind of replicate that with the weird deep drum patterns that slowly pick up. I also wanted the 'approaching' and 'near' to sound almost serene and peaceful with the ambient music box in the back, as well as the kids laughing, contrasting the weird glitchy 'boom' sounds. I imagined it being almost from the perspective of the kids who died: they saw a kind yellow rabbit who was telling them to "follow me", not knowing the true nature of what was going to happen next. That's why the kid laughter slowly gets drowned out by the glitching noises, as they get closer and closer to the back room and into his grasp, until the chase music kicks in and the kids start crying, like the moment they finally realize what's really happening and its too late for them. That's basically why I added in the children noises (which were actually just stock sounds I found on KZfaq). As for the menu theme, it pretty clearly has parts of the FNAF 3 menu theme, but with a lot of added and changed parts. It includes the iconic DBD dies irae jingle in some kind of strange instrument that sounds to me like a dying robot or something. In that same instrument, the "Happy Birthday" jingle is also played, representing what Springbonnie once was to these kids and that maybe he still, despite everything, is trying to lure you in. So basically, all in all, I wanted a contrast between beautiful serenity that slowly gets distorted into the dark truth. I think this is a little outdated, and it'd be cool to make a second version, but I think my terror radius brings a lot of stuff that I haven't seen others do. TLDR; I made a concept.

imo it was genius to add the crying children and the reversed music box, it genuinely made my skin crawl.

To bad we will never get a chase music like this because dbd players don't like it when the horror game has horror music🫤

This is actually scary chase music, yet it still feels intense. I really liked how you used actual in game sounds within the terror radius

I’ll add another comment why not, I love how his chase them feels like it tells you EXACTLY what he did, from the cries, to the reverse happiest day music box, he made them cry, he made their worse day, now he comes for you to do the very same to you. It’s horror in the music alone. Beautiful.

It's been a long time since Afton was scary to me. Honestly hearing the chase music was the first time in years that something FNAF related actually scared me. Great work man!

To be honest, I don't really like a lot of fan-made chase music/terror radii as I feel they tend to miss what makes DBD's tracks so effective and intense. They tend to be more melodic and song-like than the organized chaos of the in-game tracks. But *this* captures that DBD feeling pretty damn well! It uses those droning sounds and violent percussion to amazingly, and the chase music taking that dive into terror with an "offset" beat and turning the laughter into crying really gets across the kind of antagonist Springtrap is!

People think they won’t use children while the dredge uses screams and cries…so there’s small hope

The terror radius is creepy as fuck I hope it ends up being something like that

I love things like these, because it tends to remind us what William/springtrap is. At his core, William is a child murderer who has damned his victims into an existence of undeath, and has fallen victim to the same fate.

This is a whole other reason on it's own as to why Springtrap should be in DBD

WHY DOES THIS MASTERPIECE HAVE SO FEW VIEWS?? This is probably the only Springtrap fan theme for DbD that REALLY horrified me. It's been a long time since I've been so scared of anything like this music!

Really aesthetic and ominous OST, give us an indoor map of FNAF 3 thats dark and broken, burnt and run down hallways and rooms would make this pretty immersive. Imagine hearing the stomping, the mechanical bits cranking and clicking as he moves towards you. Would be dope af ngl

I listened to it while studying (I have to mention, that I have a bad vision and like to walk while reading smth) Holy moly, there were three times that I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye. And it only ended when I took off one earphone. It really creates a very tense and scary atmosphere! 10/10

This is one of the VERY few fan theme videos with both chase music and menu music that sounds like it could be official release quality, with minor adjustments like lowering the phantom puppet noise a bit more for layer 4 (players tend to find the high pitched stuff obnoxious if they have to hear it all the time). The beat in the second half of the menu theme could also definitely be exhanged for something more intense.

This is so good, but I think it would be funny if we heard the Pizza Sim music for the menu. All in all, a good collection of frightening music.

I like the concept that the music, one might say, is lore to fnaf, because William killed children by luring them with entertainment and this can be clearly heard from the children’s laughter in the music, but during the chase the laughter gives way to crying, as if revealing the essence of the killer

While I am a major fan of FEA's Springtrap menu theme, I have to say that the in-game music is absolutely amazing and terrifying. I'd absolutely be down for this in DBD.

We've basically done all the work for them all they need is the licences.

I have never played, nor do I really have a serious interest in DBD outside of reacting to trailers... but even I have to admit that this is cool as hell. I especially like the chase music, especially for how disturbing it is.

Holy SHIT. I've never played DBD but I have an idea of what it's like... regardless, I'm one who has a huge appreciation for soundtracks, and these instrumentals were SO well done. They made me feel tense and anxious as hell, and I love how all the noises from Springtrap/FNAF were incorporated in a way that didn't sound out of place in the slightest, it worked so well. This is awesome.

I made a concept like this, I use distorted ballon boys laugh and “the bridge is falling down” distorted it sounds creepy

this played randomly in my autoplay for music and I listen to a lot of fnaf music so youtube threw it in. at first I thought I was listening to a track from JR's the fan game. but no its a dbd theme for springtrap! the reason I thought it was a track for JR's was the part with the start, with the reverse music box sounds and the children crying. that first track would work really well for other themes if you plan to do more
