Next time guys take a fish finder (without livescope), that way you will really reduce your chances of a wasted trip. :)

A place I've always wanted to fish for pike just not had the chance yet. Trout are greedy buggers my dad had a 4lb brownie on a dead sardine once whilst we were after pike.

Responses like that are why I love it! You’re welcome :) that’s the SG2 70-130g 8ft6” and the Abu Garcia pro max (old model) the line is 0.4mm 8 strand braid

No live bait? Not allowed? I used to fish for big pike with live Jack pike in a Scottish Loch. They do like to eat their children! Use a worm on the top to get the Jack pike and away you go!

No live bait allowed on this water, deadbaits are allowed on certain days and on that day they were and some good pike were caught, a few low twenties
