I can still remember this game vividly. I'd arrived at the ground a little bit later than usual and the place was packed. I managed to squeeze right in an the back of the Barclay.
QPR were in with a real chance of winning the title with the fantastic side they had that year. This was the game taht destroyed that hope.
I can still see that Peter Morris thunderbolt in my mind's eye from the view I had behind the goal. One of the best games I've ever been to at Carrow Road.

Was at this game, QPR had massive support down for this one, great game for City to snatch all points.

Mick McGuire was a very fine player for Norwich, great to see him in this game.

It did effectively end QPRs only chance to win the League title. I believe this was an Easter weekend game, and I was there in the South Stand, watching what still believe to have been out best front line pairing in Phil Boyer and Ted McDougall

It was a hell of a game , but I did feel bad that it may of cost QPR the league ....the reason Tony Powell wasn't sent off was the Ref said 'his punch didn't make contact' with Stan Bowles !

Is this the game which all but ended QPRs efforts to win the league ? I was in the river end terrace and stood directly in line with city’s winner . An outstanding game .

They did win their last 2 games but that game pretty much ended the title yes .

So is it me or miles off side and defo red... whatever the outcome the FA would have found a way of cheating us out of it... oh yeah they gave liverpool a week off, so delaying their final game until ours had been played - absolutely disgusting

I can still remember that match, the whole Rangers end sitting on the grass Bank behind the stand, with heads in hands. Boyer was a mile offside and he knew it.

It was an absolute dog of a corner to the right for visiting fans. I'm sure I a saw a Brian Little goal for Aston Villa in a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road in Nov. 1976. Very poor view, could see very little of the nearer home end goal.

@ 5-40..it's a wonder McDougal's goal was allowed, that looks to me to be a foul, ''foot upp'' or ''foot too high'' and therefore a dgangerous challenge. They were normally given in those days.
