This version of Broly has meaning and purpose. Imo this Broly is far superior. So much potential to be explored. Old DBZ was a straight up villain but the reason he was a villain was kinda trash. And its not just Frieza, Vegeta also insulted Cabba for not being able to go Super Saiyan even though Vegeta couldn't go super Saiyan until he was an adult. Super Saiyan was once the biggest transformation in the series, then the Buu saga came and gave the power to 2 little kids that rarely trains or gets into fights. Then their fusion form can go ss3. Super Saiyan really has become a joke now. I would also say Super Saiyan 2 is also starting to become a joke. SS3 was always a joke to me even though it is suppose to be stronger than SS1 and 2.

There’s a lot of stuff that makes this crazy. For one at 3:34 Goku doesn’t know that Broly doesnt know how to turn into a Super Saiyan and Goku says he’s awesome for keeping up with Super Saiyan Vegeta in his base form which is really cool because it shows you how fast and good Broly is at adapting and becoming stronger as he fights. For demonstration look at what SSG Vegeta’s punch did to Broly here 4:20 then Broly gets a type of power up that’s very similar to SS4 as they both give the power and strength of a great ape but also in human form with the agility and speed but then this is what happened when SSG Vegeta punches Broly the next time… 7:20. Broly in this form beat both SSG Vegeta and SSG Goku even though they explained that Broly has never faced anyone else besides only training with his father. It’s even crazier because when Goku transformed in SSB we all thought it was over but no Broly literally still stood his ground until FRIEZA kills his father which finally makes Broly go Super Saiyan but an out of control one and fought both Goku and Vegeta in their SSB forms and beat the LIVING HECK outta FRIEZA and FRIEZA’S GOLD FORM and that was his Super Saiyan form. In the manga since Super is canon, Broly faced Beast Gohan and Beast Gohan said Broly is a different Saiyan and one of the strongest opponents he’s ever faced and he wasn’t even at full power and Broly was in control because he adapted to beast gohan’s rage because he seen how Gohan controls his rage and controlled his own. Broly still in Super Saiyan was able to keep up with Gogeta and Super Saiyan Gogeta only then did they reached crazy high levels SSB Gogeta vs LEGENDARY Super Saiyan Broly and they literally shattered reality twice and Broly still kept up it was after a long battle did Gogeta finally win the fight.
