This video details the process for running the dbx DriveRack PA2 Wizards. The DriveRack PA2's Wizards walk you through the configuration process with simple, step-by-step instructions, making it easy to configure the PA2 for your amplifiers, speakers and venue.
It covers:
"Setup Wizard" functions - which consist of Input Setup, GEQ (Graphic EQ) Setup and Speaker/Amp Setup.
"Input Setup" - allows you to select your input configuration between mono and stereo.
"GEQ (Graphic EQ) Setup" - allows you to select your GEQ configuration between dual mono and stereo linked.
"Speaker/Amp Setup" - allows you to select your speakers and/or amplifiers so the PA2 can optimize its settings for your particular system components.
"AutoEQ/Level Assist Wizard" - helps you balance the left/right speaker levels, the low/mid/high speaker levels (for 2-way and 3-way systems) and automatically equalizes the speakers to the current room environment.
"AFS (Advanced Feedback Suppression) Wizard" - walks you through the process of ringing out your system to provide higher system gain before feedback.

The DBX PA2 has been a God-Send for my JBL-PA315s. It removes mic feedback and includes presets that allow it to have a much larger sound stage than what the spearks should be capable. I pairing these with a set of Chauvet Light= fir sine real kick at weddings.

The RTA mic is shown in the diagrams printed pointing at the speakers. This is correct isn’t it? Not pointed up at the ceiling?

Can this be used for powered speakers? I understand that PX is for powered and PA is for passive. Some guy from Guitar Center told me that the Dbx PX is no longer in production that maybe DBX is coming out with a new one is that right?

Im using Speakers from a different Brand who isnt Listed in the pa 2, can you Please Make a Step by, Step Video of settings up a System with hig/mid in Stereo and subs in mono with Speakers who are a Brand which isnt Listed?

This looks awesome , for those who r asking , I'm pretty sure it does work for powered speakers cause @ 1 point during the video when he was selecting his sub's he actually said they were powered. I also saw it on the screen. Powered sub's. So yes. I'm going to pick one one today. Does anyone know the cost?

I have a PA Pro +. It is a MUST for any band who runs sound from the stage. Will be trading up to this new model ASAP. No more pink noise AND remote control from a GUI application on a smartphone or tablet? Sign me up!

HELLO, I've not seen JBL SRX 718 and VRX 918 bass cabinets ont the presets. Only JBL SRX 715. Is it normal ?

What if you are using entirely powered speakers in your set up. I have the JBL prx635 prx615m and pr618 xlf-s subs. All powered. The subs would go into the sub outputs but what about my other speakers which are powered? What would I connect into high and mid? Is the PA2 only for passive speakers? Unlike the Driverack PX

This is great, but, on larger arena tours I could see this being an issue since I may not have access to amps. Anyone have experience touring with this and the response from production companies/houses when you want to dig in and adjust amp settings?

This is not something that was designed for arena tours. For those, dedicated A1's, A2's, et al are tasked with using their preferred system measuring rig to balance, phase align, peq and geq everything.

So with my three way setup I will be using a factory preset like in the PA? I have EON 610s on top JRX 125s on a Crown XTI 2002 amp for mids and two EON 618S subs on bottom.

+Richard Ta I think the outputs will be connected to separate amplifiers, then those speakers are connected on the amplifier.

How many meters are your mains from each other? That's how many meters your RTA mic should be from the speakers. As he said in the video "an equilateral triangle". An equilateral triangle is a triangle whose all three sides are of equal length. Hope that helps.
