Me too it really showcases how dope the namekians fight wish there was more of these fights tbh we rarely ever get to see shit like this mostly just the main characters getting beat and powering up on repeat throughout the whole show 😂

Mostly also it is one of the few team vs team although disproportionate. Most dbz after this is either 1v1 or 1vmany.

This is another fight scene I like from early DBZ, the namekians had some amazing warriors thats underrated, luv how this scene was an all out fight instead of it being one on one.

All three of the namekian warriors were double the power of radish, Nail himself was stronger than Vegeta in the sayian saga, maybe it has to do with magic proficiency and hidden potential unlocking

@@marcoconsorti2663 Nail was 42,000 maybe a little higher at ki blasts Nail would kill Zarbon, Cui, Dodoria, Guldo, and one on one either Raccome, Burter, or Jiece. Now if, nail fused with 1 other namekian he would kill for sure Raccome, Burter, and Jiece. Maybe defeating or holding off the captain for a while.

@ilovedragonball2435 probably not Piccolo kami and nail was already way above frieza These namekians fused would have easily been above 1st 2nd and 3rd form frieza I'm not sure about final form but they can just fused with the old namek

@@dedpewl9612Piccolo and Nail were individually over 10 times stronger than these 3 namekians, and even their fusion only allowed them to tango with frieza in his second form. If these 3 fuse, I could see them maybe pushing Captain Ginyu a little bit, but definitely not Frieza in any form.

Sure, but remember that they hated fusing as it was equal to death of the one absorbed. The only reason Nail agreed to do it was because he was dying anyway

If you read the Super manga, that guy Zarbon kicks into the lake comes back to life and plays a surprisingly sizeable role in the Moro arc.

@@damaged2810 Goku Black was fine until you realized it's recycled garbage. Also the ending is awful and they ruined Future Trunks. T6 was boring. And ToP was OKAY. Biggest issue with DB Super is there were no actual villains aside from Frieza in a half ass rehash of Resurrection of F and Zamasu. Not a single time was the universe really in danger besides Zamasu. In the original DBZ? You had Raditz. You had Vegeta and Nappa. You had the Ginyu Force. You had Frieza. You had Android 17 and 18. You had Cell. You had Dabura and Babidi. You had Majin Buu. Look at the difference.

nappa power level was 4000, theirs is 3000. So if they were to all to gang up on nappa they would've killed him.

@@edgethawavestar2855 We shouldn't underestimate Nappa though. Piccolo was around the same level as those Namekians yet he was knocked down with a single elbow to the head. A difference between 3,000 and 4,000 was big deal back then.

Nappa had a base power of 4000 but in maximum mode it reached 7000, therefore those Nameks couldn't beat him, the numbers don't lie, and the difference of 1000 is quite a bit.

Anybody who thinks the English dub is better should be referred to this scene 1:31 I love this. The idea conceptually that in the heat of a fight, this namekian has enough time to pause for several beats (presumably so they can catch up with him, it seemed like they were trying to wear them out before attacking) is the kind of thing i aspire to emulate when dealing with adversity

This scene kinda reminds the one where Bora killed the RRA soldiers. Frieza, like the RRA, had to the use a stronger fighter to kill the enemy. Dende is also saved by Gohan just like Upa was saved by Goku. That was the first time since the RRA arc that we had a military force as villains so it makes sense to take inspiration from it.

You feel the tense and seriousness of this scene. It’s matter of life and death, not just fighting for the sake of fighting. This saga was great, because of the tension build through out the series.

Scenes like this are why I wish Toriyama/Toei would consider creating a Dragon Ball anthology series that cover some of the disconnected adventures of these kinds of minor/tertiary characters seen throughout the story. Like just 1 23 minute episode or small handful of manga chapters could be about these 3 warrior namekians shortly before the panic of the Frieza invasion. We'd get to see how they work together and learn a little more about the customs of the Namekian Warrior Clan. We see them conduct their routine security sweep of the planet, receive communications from the different villages to deal with stuff like alien smugglers and hostile fauna, and finally travel to Grand Elder Guru's to help supervise a 'diplomatic mission' sent by Frieza (which turns out just to be a decoy force of soldiers to momentarily distract the warrior namekians from the proper invasion).

A reminder of what makes dbz great. These guys are only at 3000 each yet these are some of the best scenes in dbz. And they dont involve any super saiyans. Its about depicting the power and speed of impacts and overall choregoraphy. 10/10

大猿(ラディッツはなったら理性が無くなる)になっても戦闘力１５０００で大猿になってないベジータ未満(１８０００)だしベジータとナッパ果ては悟空でさえ鍛えて克服している尻尾を引っ張られると力が抜ける弱点を克服してなかったりと色々とアカン所有りまくりだったからね🐒🥕

So these minions charged against the Namekians assuming their PL is around 1000. So the minions are at least over 1000PL. So you telling me these minions will just curb stomp early Saiyan saga Goku despite not having any ki control (based off their reliance on ki canons)….cool

Pretty much. The low level Frieza forces are around 1000 to 1500. So even a low tier Frieza soldier would ragdoll King Piccolo and the entirety of early DB.

Well goku and piccolo were clapped by a character(Raditz) with a power level around 1.200 so yeah,the weakest soldier of the frieza force can solo all of OG Dragon Ball and potentially easily conquer Earth(after all even king piccolo with a power level of less then 300 could easily conquer Earth).

Come on man, uploading japanese DBZ videos in 16:9 and not broadcast audio is so outdated. All the episodes are available online in the original aspect ratio and broadcast audio, upload clips from those instead.
