“Wonder Woman” is released in cinemas around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
Joining Gadot in the international cast are Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui. Jenkins directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg, based on characters from DC Entertainment. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston. The film is produced by Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Richard Suckle, with Rebecca Roven, Stephen Jones, Wesley Coller and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers. Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with RatPac-Dune Entertainment, an Atlas Entertainment/Cruel and Unusual production, “Wonder Woman.” The film is scheduled for release on June 2, 2017, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Sorry but BvS wasnt a good movie. Yes ultimate edition is a lot better. But good directors find a way to tell the story w/out cutting important scenes. He could of cut out some of the explosion bs and put the more plot driven/storytelling scenes into the movie. Again that is what good directors do.

+kevin weiler totally agreed, and agree BvS Ult Ed was better. In the end, the hack execs and hack producers (the money) make final decisions. It's why a lot of "production hell" happens. We almost had Nicholas Cage Superman lol, but again the money and egos tore the film in so many directions that it never completed

Did I just hear some boo for Snyder? you may not have been the biggest fan of BVS, but booing a director who tried his hardest and is as nerd about this characters like we are is just wrong. And at the top of that he's there (like everytime he has a film coming out) to show you footage from the movie, that footage that you probably loved, show some fucking respect.

off-kilter I am excited because I still have to yet the definitive comic book batman movie. The dark knight is amazing but it was a very realistic and grounded version of the character in a self contained universe and I love everything Ben is saying about how the character is the word's greatest detective and how that will probably factor into his story.

Not saying they should have booed him, because they shouldn't have, but BvS was a very flawed film. Not because it was dark or anything stupid like that. I thought it was a very pretentious film that wasn't as deep as it pretends to be. Snyder claimed there was depth in places where there really wasn't. For instance, he said he made the choice to have Metropolis and Gotham across the bay from each other because it was a "tale of two cities." But this thematic idea never comes into play. The only reason they're across the bay from one another is so that it would be easier for characters to get from here to there for the sake of the plot. He never gives Metropolis any personality. It's just a bland city where the story takes place. That's another big flaw: there's no life in this film. Soul is something all of the pretentious political details and lines can't muster in a movie.

It's sad some people actually booed Zack Snyder. Even if you didn't like BvS no director should ever be booed when walking to the stage. I'm not saying that because I love both of his DCEU movies. No director deserves all that... The sad part is when he walks out he seems so... defeated and drained because of all of the hate he's been getting.

+Nd Dymium He puts effort into his cinematography (personally, I'd rather see a color palette akin to an Alex Ross painting of the DC universe, but the cinematography in Snyder's films is still very good, nonetheless.) However, that doesn't mean that his DC films are masterpieces. He takes the characters seriously enough to add a bunch of themes, which rarely get fleshed out (though apparently, not seriously enough to have them have a conversation, because I guess dialog of ANY kind defeats visual storytelling?) Oh, and I don't think he should have been booed, by the way. I'm just saying that having a lot of heavy-handed themes doesn't necessarily entail that the films are "beautifully crafted." Additionally, just because those of us who dislike the direction he's taken this DC universe in can't make a shot like Snyder can, doesn't mean we can't criticize him. I don't have to be a plumber to criticize one if they do a bad job in my home.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but after watching this, the movie I'm most looking forward to see (after Wonder Woman) is Aquaman. The deep dark oceans, Atlantis and a Horror movie director sounds like a very interesting combination!

I feel that they should screen the movie first to people who really know about these kinds of things before they release it to the public. There should have been no reason why so many people hated BvS if they had taken it more serious it should have been better than Civil War
