I literally failed the first time taking my road test in 2021….But I didn’t give up I kept looking at different videos an practicing an came across this one this video it help me pass my dc road test at the dmv in deanwood (wdc) on 4/2/22 for the second time.They give you three tries to parallel park. I got it on the third try!!!! Then I went to the road which I only drove for about 5 mins. Then I headed back to the dmv to obtain my license. When you go to Dc deanwood it’s fake parking space they have set up with a fake curve you can’t ride over and make sure you don’t hit a none of the back cones you will fail please b patient the instructor will rush you take ur time he will have you pull from the parking space good luck hope this help

That's teaching to the test. If you want people to succeed IRL, add in an example with actual vehicles instead of cones. Also would appreciate adding a mention of the Dutch Reach or looking for cyclists and cars before opening the driver's side door. Finally, he didn't give any tips on how to gauge if your car will fit in a space or what to do when there is traffic approaching from the rear as you are beginning to parallel park.
