Loki yelling "Yes, that's how it feels!!!". Gets me every time. Very nice throwback to Avengers. Only second to the Grandmasters confusion when Thor proclaims that the Hulk is a friend from work....lol 😂

This movie really catapulted Taika Waititi from a fun indie comedy director to one of the biggest directors in Hollywood. He’s also the voice of Korg. Also, I’m pretty confident the “he’s a friend from work” line was improvised by a Make a Wish kid on set and they decided to use it in the movie.

One of my all time fave MCU movies. Chris Hemsworth just does comedy so perfect The score is so good too aswell and Chris’ chemistry with Mark Ruffalo is so good too

Hulk/Banner, Thor, and Valkyrie are genuinely such an underrated little trio. They all play off each other so well.

Not only did we have Sam Neill and Matt Damon in the play at the beginning, but the guy playing Thor is Chris Hemsworth's brother, Luke. Wildly unrecognizable from his usual look, like when was in Westworld. And yes, Doctor Strange's house is on Bleecker Street in the comics since the very beginning.

The design of Hela's costume (and that AWESOME head dress) comes straight from the original comics. All credit to the one and only legend himself Jack Kirby, the legendary artist who co-created most of the Marvel universe.

Yes, it was Chris Hemsworth's friend, Matt Damon, as Loki in the stage play. Luke Hemsworth played Thor in that. Seeing Sam Neil in the MCU was a pleasant surprise.

177A Bleecker Street is a real location in New York, it was the apartment rented by one of the creators who worked on Doctor Strange in the comics.

I really enjoy the idea that big named actors are willing take roles that are so secendary/side characters like Matt Damon, Sam Neil, or even big brother Hemsworth as Thor during the reneactment...it just makes my lil' heart oh so so happy.

When Thor is fighting Hulk they had a 8 or 9 year old boy who was fighting cancer on set. He was a big Thor fan, he is the one that said, "It would be funny if when you see Hulk you say he's a friend from work". And they left it in for him.

Dunno if someones said it/told you guys yet but the "he's a friend from work" line was suggested on the day of filming by a make-a-wish kid, Chris and Taika loved it so they used the line and that kid will go down in cinema history its pretty heartwarming

Sidenote: Every scene that has Karl Urban makes me smile...to me, the limelight is brighter when he is in the shot. I've been a fanof his ever since he was Caesar in Xena the Warrior Princess.

Yes, in the comics Doctor Strange's enchanted house, the Sanctum Sanctorum, is located on the very real Bleeker Street, in the real Greenwich Village neighborhood of the real borough of Manhattan, New York.

Yes, Dr. Strange lives on Bleecker Street in the comics and it is a real street in the Greenwich Village neightborhood of Manhattan, NYC. The real address, however, does not look at all like the set they use for the Sanctum Sanctorum.

A little Easteregg the horse faced statue we see of the four heads on the building was Beta Ray Bill an character who first appeared in Marvel comics in The Mighty Thor in 83 and was a character introduced worthy enough to lift Mjolnir that Odin had another hammer made for him equal to that of Mjolnir.

Just to clarify. The chip that is stuck unto Thor's neck is not electrocuting him, it's neurotoxin, because of the veins popping out and all. They messed up the sfx

6:25 Heimdall was forgiven for that. Loki as Odin likely banished him because Heimdall, being the all-seeing eye that he was, was probably the only one capable of seeing through Loki's deception. 14:02 RIP Ray Stevenson. The actor who played our favorite rotund warrior sadly passed recently. 15:14 Even without his hammer, Thor is still a god. Even the most basic Asgardian has superior strength, durability, and longevity compared to most mortals. 19:05 Fun fact: The Grandmaster is brother to The Collector. Here's hoping someday we get these two eccentrics in a scene together. 24:05 The actor playing Korg was also the director of this film. A lot of his other work is just a insanely hilarious. 26:05 "We know each other. He's a friend from work." That memorable quote was actually suggested by a Make-a-Wish kid who was visiting the set.

In Norse mythology, Hela, the Fenris Wolf, Jormangandr(the midgard serpent), and Odin's eight legged horse, Sleipnir, were all children of Loki.

You are correct. Fenris is meant to be the Fenrir wolf from the mythologies. Fenris is the Scandinavian word for Fenrir, so that's most likely the reason as to why they chose the name Fenris instead of the Fenrir.

Just a note, the character Korg is voiced by the director Taika Watiti. Great job recognizing the actors in the play. Liam Hemsworth played Thor. Also, The Grandmaster and The Collector are brothers.

I do like this movie my only real problem I have with it is that they made Hela the sister of Thor. In the comics and traditional Hela is the daughter of Loki and I wish they kept that.

Such an amazing movie.. Because it's just so random but absolutely great. You don't know what will happen.. watched it in the cinemas. Also, The Norse mythology was first used and invented by the Germanic people.. The ancestors of the Vikings are the Germanic people. So Germanic and Norse mythology is the same thing
