bro,actually this concept is comes from moment of inertia (dw/dt)=1/j(T-T1);since torque is dec. so (dw/dt)=negetive;means w is decresing (here w,j,T,T1 is speed,moment of inertia and torques respectively) this is concept behind ur doubt i hope u'll clear

Ur question is geniune , as armature current increases, torque induced increases, this induced torque becomes > torque due to load. And speed increases, but go further, as speed increases , back emf also increases , which reduces the armature current , and hence induced torque again decreases till it becomes equal to torque due to load , but at higher speed... Thus in this overall process , speed increases but torque induced remains same...hope dat answer da question..🙂

In video both armature and field control methods used to decrease speed... ... i believe field control method used to increase the speed by controlling field flux ( N ~ 1 / flux ) and armature control method used to decrease the speed by controlling back emf (N ~ back emf). Torque is inversely proportional to speed in case of variable mechanical load because when mechanical load increases ,speed decreased, back induced EMF decrease, armature current increases due to this induced torque increases to pick up this load But in case of constant mechanical load if armature current decreases due to any reason then induced torque will also decrease but to pick the same mechanical load speed decreases

There are two torques available , one is due to load and other is induced torque , prop to flux and armature current.. here induced torque is always directly prop to speed in case of DC motors, when ind. torque > torque due to load , speed increases , and it z obvious from even machines inertia point of view... hope dat answer da question..🙂

In the end of the video when you explained speed control of Series motor, armature current decreased flux also decreases...if flux decreases torque decreases...if torque decreases speed decreases. But in the beginning of the video you only said that speed is inversely proportional to flux.....so how the hell when flux is decreased speed also got decreased?????

as we know generated torque is proportional to flux & armature current.in other hand e=v-(armature current*armature resistance).if armature current increases ,e will decrease.as e is proportional to n,thus increase in generated torque results in decrease in speed.

They both are dependent on Power, Case 1: Power is constant, If speed increase then torque decrease or vice versa. Case 2: When power is not constant, Here the case where the input voltage decreases, As V decrease I decrease - because they are proportional. So net power decreases. In this case both torque and speed decrease.(NOTE : THIS IS THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION, BOTH Tg and N decreases because the net power decreases).
