I guess being confused allows you to cast magic you don't actually have the charges for, and in this case, it resulted in your Meteor obliterating those Sthenos. Talk about lucky!

Oh, I see. When you try to cast meteor, it doesn't work. Then you get confused and cast meteor. So it only works if you don't want to cast it.

Almost forgot about good ol' Feceased Crab. which is hard as Heceased should be a constant reminder with their...problem

Without the mirror, constantly running into these enemies almost feels like an absurdly high random encounter rate. I'm so glad random encounters have been largely done away with nowadays. I won't tell you how an eyeball bites, I'll just ask, haven't you ever heard of eyeteeth? That final battlefield was some incredible luck.

I would not believe that Explosions are weak to Axe. I would assume that Bows are weak to explosions though.
