I'm not a DC fan (or superheroes fan in general) but I like G1 because I've always liked the idea of a school for superheroes rather than girls covering their identities as heroes, but I like that in G2 all the girls have different personalities and designs. In the end, I like both but G1 was my childhood

No offense but the character design in G1 is kind of in the uncanny valley, they all have the same face, and also the animation is a lot smoother and clearly has a higher budget in G2. Just my opinion.

I don’t watch the show(s) but I have seen a few clips on KZfaq lately and decided to do some research out of my own live for character design. As far as I can tell, G1 is the modern equivalent of an 80s cartoon designed to sell toys in terms of design tropes. The story (and characters) feel pretty flat (keep in mind I’ve seen like three clips, but comparing ‘never more’ to the 2003 teen titans adaptation of the same storyline, it’s ridiculously trivial. Like, oh no, trigon’s here, guess we’ll just trip him over and save the day.) G2 looks like a much chunkier, semi-line less modern cartoon (makes sense considering Faust is behind it) with design used to emphasise character traits and story through lines. I guess it's all up to personal preference but I do feel that the original was objectively lazier in terms of animation style and fluidity. Like we get you’re tryna sell dolls, but that doesn’t mean they all have to have the same face. I haven’t seen any clips of g2 so I can only comment on the designs and not the animation or story.

I love G2 wayy better than G1, they have more personality, diversity, and the art doesn't look like those old shows that are made specifically to sell dolls, G1 was extremely bland to me. Also I love that they didn't make the villains into heros, I felt like they were just throwing their origins out the window in G1.

I think that bumblebee g2 is very cute and more daring and punctual and obviously beautiful the bumblebee of g1 is a little more intelligent more detailed etc... if we qualify how cute I love how cute it is and how cartoonish bumblebee is in the g2 ( that's my opinion thanks bye)

Tbh I really like both, I feel sad that the show got rebooted, but kinda happy that they have other people who didn’t know about be able to watch it. I personally really like bumblebee and Harli Quin’s designs more in G2 since I LOVE Karen’s big sweater and hairstyle, and Harli looks more like the og Harli Quinn, but her secret identity is a popular re-design of her. I do for some reason feel that there wasn’t enough danger in the older one, but the new one is similar in that way; G1 the problems seemed to be solved really fast-to me-for some reason. And G2, they don’t always seem to care about the problem enough. I kinda wish the old one was still going, but I’m happy with the new one. Sorry for making you read that I got carried away.

G1 felt like pandering, G2 feels like a legit solid series where the characters have actual flaws. Also love that Ivy and Quinn returned as villains, because having them as heroes always bugged the hell out of me.

I actually don't know which Harley Quinn I like more because their both voiced by Tara Strong and Anti-Heroes (well G2 Harley is an Anti-Hero when she's Harleen Quinzel) and Harley never change, I love G1 Wonder Woman and Batgirl the most and All G1 Teen Titans, G2 Teen Titans are too childish

G1. No doubt. It was my entire childhood, and I had every toy. I liked that it was different. I loved when Poison Ivy, Star sapphire, and Harley Quinn were good, and the others that are villains in the new reboot. I liked the Super hero High school idea. The old reboot was superior. The new one is kinda mid. I didn’t like the addition of Zatanna. I liked when it was the OG 7. Katana, Bumblebee, Poison Ivy, HQ, Batgirl, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman. In the new reboot, they were all kind of moody and weird. I didn’t love Green Lantern (Jessica) being one of the main characters. I liked everything in the old reboot. In the new reboot, they’re all a little rude and it’s just now about some teenagers fighting and school. I know that’s like the old one, but it’s not so teenage girls. It’s more like 16-19 year olds being nice, and saving the day. And it had some funny moments. The new one has too much drama, and fighting. I didn’t like that. And they were weird. The old had great animation, and a lot of characters, which made me like. There was nothing I didn’t like in the old one. The new one has a lot of problems, and stuff I don’t like. Zatanna, she kind of annoyed me a lot. She was really weird and kind of a stupid addition to the show. Her actress is amazing, and she has been good at times. I didn’t like that they were always in their teenage uniforms for regular high school. I loved when they learn to save the day and learn about their powers. Everyone was good friends, and weren’t always in arguments. And they were nicer in the old reboot. The new one is good, but overall, the old reboot is way better in my opinion.
