Haha so many salty NA players disliking the video. All of a sudden its a boring TI because their fav team didn't win. As a dutchguy i have to say: WINGS deserved it, UNPREDICTABLE and ENTERTAINING drafts and AMAZING teamplays! Wings were the only team in the TI that could punish the same boring, stale 'meta' drafts from most teams..... So many out of the box games this year, DEFINITELY the best TI so far!

watched this atleast 10 times and still gives me chills. Oh how good TI6 was, almost all hero were picked, underdogs at finals, tobiwan casting finals

So many comments being salty on Wings, some are blatantly racist, you guys disgust me. Wings clean sweeping every team they faced in main event play off only losing twice to DC (and both imo because they picked pudge + techies / pudge + silencer). They defeated MVP.P that kicked your beloved OG 2-0, defeated EG 2-0 and defeated DC again in the grand final for the second time. I don't favor Wings, I want EG or DC to win, but these guys are champions and they deserve respect. Show some sportsmanship people, humble in victory, gracious in defeat.

Wings deserve more respect than any other Chinese teams. They are so young with a average age of 19 yrs. They don't have great sponsor. They don't have respect from the crowd. They just work hard, they are not afraid to try new drafts, they chase their dreams. And now finally they made it. They makes me believe hard work will make dream come true.

I come here bcs i see a comment in post at facebook about this team : China have a huge esports organization called "ACE" and chinese teams are required to sign up there before they can play international games. I believe this organization takes 1/2 of the prize money won from tournaments. Wing's money went on many organizations first before it reached them and about 1/4 of the winnings is left for them to split amongst themselves. They went mad and cursed the organization and they all left. They then decided to make their own team like team Secret where the players are the managers as well. But when the ACE heard about this they banned them. They're not allowed to join tournaments. And they can't play dota anymore.

So many downvotes by salty fans. Seriously Wings played incredible Dota throughout the tournament - picking Centaur, Huskar without healers and that perfect Void from Shadow - 20-0-16. Put aside their Pudge games and they were undoubtedly the best team on the Main Event. DC played exceptionally well too up until the grand finals and losing only to the eventual winners. Both teams have much to be proud of, especially DC as before TI6 they were considered underdogs - I don't think anyone but Slacks, Sunsfan and those who followed Slack's predictions actually put DC to go far or win the tournament. It is a shame that EG didn't get to the finals, as we'd be able to see if ppd was able to come up with a solution to Wings and their crazy good drafts/plays, but 3rd place is still a very good spot. Same with Fnatic, who as another underdog like DC, went all the way through the LB to get 4th place.

Unfortunately, Wings is dead. Some people don't want dota2 to be more popular in China, which will hinder their vested interests in lol. There are also people who are jealous of the championship. Some people like to use improper ways to satisfy their own interests. To OG, I think It is the inheritor of the spirit of wings. Wings is the guide for the new era. OG completely opened the door.

A team picked 17 different heroes (io, storm, slardar, silencer, pudge, invoker, faceless void, sand king, oracle, death prophet, nyx assassin, kunkka, anti mage, bat rider, axe, elder titan, kotl) in 4 matches [Correct me if I am wrong] = second worst Ti/No hype/Boring final, I don't understand these fans logic... Players picking same heroes or meta heroes then the fans be like "Oh this hero again ResidentSleeper." And now you have a team that picks so many different heroes and you can still called it boring. The plays are decent if you actually looked at it, what Wings did was completely shut down DC's initiation, instead of initiating first, since they know DC is more to an aggressive playing style team. Why are people hating on Wings so much? You want Pudge? They delivered. (Although not the best but no one else was picking it!) You want Techies? They delivered. And they literally train wreck every other team except whenever they picked Pudge, just what's wrong with you people hating on them? Then the final, it's a simple comeback, DC could've made the game looks good but they screwed up, and Wings take opportunity out of it, it's about winning the tournament, you can't expect Wings to take the risk to do the 5 men blink call into a 5 men Mana Void when DC is playing so damn well! I know I am being salty but look, Wings deserved it, and you guys who hate them just because they're Asians/Chinese need to remember DC is 1 American + 4 Europeans.

People said Chinese dota was farming game which is boring. But with such hype play style coming from Wings, lot of people still don't like them.

Crazy how Wings hero comp and gameplay (team coordination, build, etc) is very much like today's pub games. Crazy how they really changed how the game is looked at and played, the meta, comp, and builds looked rigid after several TIs.

Good finals. But not very good compared to the other finals. We haven't got any $9 million plays like the Dream Coil or the Echo Slam but in all honesty those plays are extremely rare when the competition is this tight. TI3 still the best finals but TI6 is the best at everything else. The competition was close and it felt like anyone could win anything. All predictions went out the window and nobody knew what was going to happen anymore. GGWP Wings and props to DC as well.

Deserved victory for Wings. Also all props to Misery and DC. I kind of think they should have sticked to comfort heroes on their cores. w33ha on Invoker, Wind, Potm, and Resolut1on on his signature Slark, Chaos Knight, Tiny. Anyways one of the best TI's.

Wings throughout the tournament was all about teamplay. Kites and follow-up like crazy. You also see other teams carry aggressively attempt a pick-off and get handed to. I don't have a team favorite, but I have to admit, they won because of teamplay.

Does anyone also feel like they don't remember this TI? I swear I've been watching every TI ever since Na'vi lifted the first trophy and for some reasons I just couldn't recall my memories on this particular TI, it's so weird, maybe I was doing something back in 2016 and didn't watch this one...
